An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the Arden Fair Mall shooting on Black Friday that left two teenage brothers dead, Sacramento police said on Monday.
17-year-old Sa'Quan Reed-James and 19-year-old Dewayne James Jr. were killed in the shooting.
Sacramento police identified the alleged shooter as Damario Beck.

Well people have to earn a living. Brings a whole new meaning to Black Friday. Left out of the story is that both had weapons and fired at each other. Thank God a white policeman did not get involved or the mall would have been burnt down

Aunt Sharron: It’s the mall’s fault for letting people like her nephews in, then for not destroying what little business remains after the customer base flees gang activity.
Does she really not comprehend that undesirables bring their crime with them wherever they go? Mall should demand the family pay for disruption of business.

Vigil speakers remembered the brothers as good young men whose family moved from Louisiana to give them a better, safer life in Sacramento in 2019. The pair had both attended Rio Americano High School. Sa’Quan was in 10th grade and Dewayne was a former student.

I wonder if the police will be looking for the person who provided the ‘children’ with firearms with the same vigor as in the Rittenhouse case.

looks like the second brother pulled his gun only after the first brother was shot to death, but didn’t manage to hit the killer before the killer shot the second brother to death as well ...
