An outright majority of Britons believe the Black Lives Matter movement has increased racial tensions, along with a 44 per cent of people from ethnic minorities.
According to an Opinium survey of over 2,000 people, some 55 per cent of Briton’s believe Black Lives Matter has made race relations in society worse rather than better. The remaining 45 per cent of respondents were not all actively opposed to this idea, either, with the figure for people who actively disagreed standing at just 17 per cent.
The proportion of white people who believed BLM had inflamed matters was slightly above the national average, while the proportion of Conservative voters with that believe was an astonishing 70 per cent.
This illustrates what may be a growing gulf between Conservative voters and Conservative party politicians on BLM-related issues, with the government having been somewhat limp and permissive in its attitude towards the group’s activism and ideology, and even attempting to appease it — with Home Secretary Priti Patel declaring that “Mandatory training is being introduced for new and existing members of Home Office staff to ensure that everyone working in the Department understands and appreciates the history of migration and race in this country” in July, for example.

The larger question that pops in my mind - why does BLM even exist in Britain?
Yes, the anglosphere is increasingly bound by a sort of post-modern, corporatist, globalist, financialist, entertainment-media culture
But they are nonetheless a different country with a very different history - who is foisting corrupt, fetid American racial politic themes on them?
THAT was their SOLE PURPOSE....................
Will they be arrested for expressing that point of view? Seems rather hate-speechy.

I have to admit I have become more angered towards blacks over the last few years.
Just plain getting tired of the constant bellyaching and whining.
I am told that, once you get outside major cities, they’re pretty smart - but nobody listens to them.
Never in history have Nation States given away their heritage and identity without a fight.

Unfortunately, population density is even more powerful in the UK where there is no Electoral College to protect the countryside.
The rioting, looting and burning by BLM has certainly tainted any sympathy I had for blacks. In my opinion BLM and Obama have set back race relations in the USA 20 plus years. I’m sick of the whining, complaining, ingratitude and threats demanding racial preferences.
Black/Afro minority groups only make up 3% of the population of Britain. South Asians make up a larger percentage (4.3%) of the population and have much less visibility in the media. I find it pretty hilarious given the UK is still almost 88% white they spend so much time virtue signaling. This isn’t a defense of the UK either, much of the worlds issues esp in the East is a direct consequence of their colonialism and redrawing convenient borders.
Yes, most of the bitching and whining is just a power play for more more power, period.
