Public health officials are bracing for a new round of COVID-19 case spikes as many Americans traveled and held large family gatherings over the Thanksgiving holiday in defiance of mitigation guidance from the government, Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday.
Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, warned that as the nation heads into December, officials expect “we might see a surge superimposed on the surge we are already in.”
“I don’t want to frighten people except to say it’s not too late at all for us to do something about this,” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Fauci urged Americans to take precautions, including social distancing and wearing masks during and after travel back home.
Even with vaccinations likely to begin within weeks, Fauci said the nation is entering “really a precarious situation.” He noted that infected people may not develop symptoms for two weeks, and asymptomatic people can still spread the virus.
“We are going to have to make decisions as a nation, state, city and family that we are in a very difficult time, and we’re going to have to do the kinds of restrictions of things we would have liked to have done, particularly in this holiday season,” he said.

We do know enough that keeping your hands disinfected works and objects you touch can work. Any disinfectant that contains at least 70% alcohol will kill Corvid. Just a matter of applying when you should. Just clean your hands after touching questionable places and before you touch your face. It's a hassle, but it has worked for us while being out and about.
Being sanitary and disinfecting helps but it doesn’t change the fact that the virus is airborne.
There is no such thing as a free vaccination. SOMEONE is paying for it.
And just because you may not have to lay down cash or write a check when you get it, if you survive long enough afterwards, You will be paying for at least some of it. Through taxes, through inflation from the Federal Reserve printing fiat for paying thousands of dollars a dose for it.
Or your children or grandchildren will pay, if you have any of those.

Of course, a rope, a tree and a horse — with some assembly required — would be a much better way for Xi to pay us for the vaccine.
If I went to a Dr and he talked thee way this guy does I would walk out and never return.
And any leftist and they will just tell you we need a 2 week shut down, wear masks, etc. Do you really think I’m that stupid to realize we turned 14 days to slow the spread into 6-8 weeks of closed business and months of restriction and masks.
None of that has stopped the spread and it has turned into a religion for many at this point.

What HAS Fauci personally done?
Eliminated travel? Stopped going out? He doesn’t even wear a mask every minute of every day.
I have to wear a mask all day at work. Since it was mandated, I have refused almost all OT offered since masks were mandated, as did many co workers.
Remind all of us AGAIN about how much support & $$$$$$$ Fauci gave to this lab in China.....

There has been massive media attention on Covid-19 deaths – and there have been a lot of them. The CDC as of noon on 26 November 2020 was reporting that there have been 259,005 total Covid-19 deaths in the United States.
Yet anyone who reads widely is aware that there have been reports of a motorcycle accident victim being reported as a Covid death. There are many who correctly report that all people dying from or with Covid and even suspected of dying from-or-with Covid-19 are all being counted as certified reportable must-make-the-headlines Covid-19 Deaths.
[Note: This is a long and rather detailed explanation of what leads to the situation in which we find ourselves regarding Covid-19 Deaths reporting. Those who want a better understanding of the issue should continue reading. Readers with no or little interest can just accept this brief synopsis: “It’s Complicated” and move on to other posts. ]
Various experts, journalists, bloggers, and pundits tells us that “Covid Deaths” are being over-counted, mis-counted and even under-counted. Other pundits and media-reported experts desperately try to reassure us that Covid Death counts are correct and real – and that we should all stay concerned and follow all government mandates – which vary from “reasonable” to “obviously based on magical thinking” (closing bars and restaurants at 10 PM because that’s when the Corona Virus Zombies attack) — all this despite various governments having different and contradictory mandates (or even an absence of mandates) and the various States in the United States following differing rules and policies on Covid Deaths reporting. Those reporting “facts” like “US Covid-19 Deaths overestimated by 17 times” (based on this CDC comorbitity data) are sadly mistaken and misinform the general public, just adding to the general confusion on the subject.
