An elderly Canadian woman was killed by her doctor because she would rather be dead than go through another COVID lockdown. When it looked like she would have to be confined to her room for two weeks, she asked for — and received — the lethal jab due to declining mental health and vitality. From the CTV story:
Nancy Russell, described by her family as exceptionally social and spry, was one such person. Her family says she chose a medically-assisted death (MAID) after she declined so sharply during lockdown that she didn’t want to go through more isolation this winter…
This time, doctors approved her. Russell would not have to go through another lockdown in her care home. “She just truly did not believe that she wanted to try another one of those two-week confinements into her room,” her daughter said.
But note, for her death, she could be surrounded by friends and family!
When 90-year-old Nancy Russell died last month, she was surrounded by friends and family. They clustered around her bed, singing a song she had chosen to send her off, as a doctor helped her through a medically-assisted death.
So companionship to be made dead but not to remain alive. And her family thinks this was a fine option, demonstrating how the social mindset becomes twisted by euthanasia consciousness.
But, we are told, killing to end suffering is oh soooo compassionate! And lockdowns are measures of good public health! Bah!

The family ever think maybe they should have made a place for her at their own house? You know, like humans have done for thousands of years?
Disgusting to see so many people acting as though they have no choice but to warehouse the old folks in a home. And no, most are not there because of some complex and demanding medical care need. It is out of laziness and the families out their own selfish needs first.
People who are distressed on the verge of mental illness are easy to convince to die. Those who are fully mentally ill (including homosexuals) are already much more likely to commit suicide.
It’s why assisted suicide/euthanasia is a ticket to mass murder.
Jesus. There is no way in Hell that I would sit next to her and comfort her. I would be stopping the doctors immediately.

The lockdown had nothing to do with her death. She was just a loser who was so coddled in her socialist utopia that she couldn’t handle even the mildest disruption in her life.
My own mother is 88 and in a Pa. nursing home that has active covid cases. It is not just that family can’t visit. There is none of the usual socializing between staff and residents or between residents. No recreational visits, very few doctor visits because they are with the ill. She is in a room alone 24/7. I do what I can making sure she receives many packages and letters. We talk at least once daily by phone. Even so, she now speaks much more about wanting to join my father in heaven. Democrats really suck.
This poor soul did not take her own life, she was murdered by a doctor, in a Canadian late term abortion technique.
BTW, what the hell happened to this season’s FLU EPIDEMIC and..Oh, sorry. EVERYTHING from hangnails, motorcycle deaths to the flu are being called COVID!

They’re not so much warped, but maybe they should have resolved to do whatever they could to keep her company by effectively violating the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions until said restrictions complained of a sore rear end.
Just a thought.
I take COVID seriously, but not enough to put people through this fresh hell. It should have been up to her whether to have visitors or not.
It’s as though these authorities think her visitors would come wielding a Trump-approved COVID gun to take her out on the first day!
