And look at Kim in North Korea, who is pretty hefty. And compare him to the masses in North Korea who are starving under his dictatorship.

“we see this woman using an EBT card to purchase groceries..”

Don’t EBT cards look like credit cards? How did you know it was an EBT card? Just curious.

Not as much fun to shop at Whole Foods since the Amazon takeover, they got rid of a lot items that don't fit the Amazon model. It's pricey, but good for fresh produce and fruit , so not too bad if you like to cook for yourself.

The CEO is an interesting character. A bit of a corporate raider but seems to actually care about his employees. I recall that some years ago he only took $1 as his annual salary when they were going through some hard times.

Because the lady asked where to put the EBT card and the cashier told her to swipe it

Socialism= why a Cuban will hop on an inner tube, brave shark infested open seas, for a chance at freedom. Don’t see many people headed south. Oh yeah, who did those Cubans vote for again?

Why do I think of Whole Foods as being a left-oriented business? Sounds like the boss has his head screwed on straight.
