•Ivermectin is effective for COVID-19. 100% of studies report positive effects. The probability that an ineffective treatment generated results as positive as the 19 studies to date is estimated to be 1 in 524 thousand (p = 0.0000019).
•Early treatment is most successful, with an estimated reduction of 91% in the effect measured using a random effects meta-analysis, RR 0.09 [0.02-0.40].
•100% of the 8 Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) report positive effects, with an estimated reduction of 72% in the effect measured using a random effects meta-analysis, RR 0.28 [0.13-0.59].

bookmark dosage.
It’s also low cost and widely available so don’t expect it to get approved. Not enough money to be made.
As a tangential member of the veterinary community, I will note for the record that cat heart worming medications can be a mix of, or purely, ivermectin.
See “Heartgard”.
I am not a medical person, and I am not providing any advice. Just stating facts I see.
Super. I’m not worried about this at all, but information is power.
Side effects may include weight gain . . . from no longer having worms
LOL!
Ummmmm
You might want to look up what ivermectin is
bkmk
My question is, wouldn’t QUERCETIN be just as effective as an ionophore in conjunction with zinc, since it is also more readily available. And another question would be, for how long does quercetin remain active after taking a does and the same goes for zinc. I realize that these questions may not be easy to answer, but perhaps with a little luck one or the other member of FR may have an answer.
I have a tube sitting on the counter. Apple flavored as it is used to treat heart worms in horses.
I have 3 horse tubes of the stuff. Approx 6 grams per dose (for a horse). I would take 1 gram as a dose. That’s about 50% stronger than some of the doses studied, (its about 18 mg per gram in one of those horse tubes). But even at that dose, I am not worried, Ivermectin is fairly well tolerated. There have been studies using doses many times higher than that.
Thanks
Actually ivermectin interferes with the nucleus of the cells being able to regulate proteins the virus needs to replicate...or something..so the cells die
Works that way on cells in parasites, too
No biochemist here but youtube has a series of Covid medical lectures by Dr Been that describe it
I would like to know more about Quercetin also - the dosage specifically. I ordered some online and have it here but haven’t used it as a prophylaxis. Just have it and zinc in case I ever become Covid positive.
Would like to know the correct dosage of Quercetin.

Protocol for High Risk Patients:
* Elemental Zinc 25mg once a day
* Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) 200 mg once a day for 5 days, then once a week.
~ If HCQ is unavailable then use Low and Moderate risk protocol [see above]
Mega thanks!
