Coronavirus cases are rising in almost every U.S. state. But the surge is worst now in places where leaders neglected to keep up forceful virus containment efforts or failed to implement basic measures like mask mandates in the first place, according to a New York Times analysis of data from the University of Oxford.
Using an index that tracks policy responses to the pandemic, these charts show the number of new virus cases and hospitalizations in each state relative to the state’s recent containment measures.

They’ve been repeating this narrative for the last few months. That alone must mean it is a lie, big time.
It is information warfare, 24x7, by the democrat army.

What is the death rate?
Over time there are better testing methods and more people have been tested.
1200 dogs died yesterday of a preventable disease. Very sad.
Oh it was people, not dogs?? Oh, who cares then.
Keeping the fear fires stoked to bonfire proportions ... the DemonRats are loving their tyrannical “control” and have no intention of going back to pre-COVID days. I had hoped most of this fear mongering, mask tyranny & lockdowns that do not work (which is the actual ‘science’) would stop after the election, but should have known better. See my tagline.
Long term goal of the lockdowns is to destroy the middle class and make them permanently reliant on government for their very survival. Survival which does at the cost of total obedience.
Enjoy this sort of ”reporting” while you can— you won't see anything like it in a Harris/Biden ‘presidency’...
They’ll enjoy supportive propaganda, not the nasty antagonist sort that trump has had to endure...

Posting the NY Times?
Why?
And then we look at the truth:
https://www.jhunewsletter.com/article/2020/11/a-closer-look-at-u-s-deaths-due-to-covid-19
Nothing to see here - death rates around the country are unchanged.
South Dakota is less than 1,000. On a weekly basis? 11 out of 50. However, something that my critical thinking tells me is that South Dakota is in a different spot than New York or Florida are at given this same time.
I’m proud to state that I am New-York-Times-free. And have been for many years. Nothing they print is fit for me to read.
And they have the lowest unemployment rates.
How well as this article aged? Looks like they enjoy moving goalposts a lot.
Indeed. From yesterday:

Wait you actually read the NYT at one time? Really?
Plenty of them don’t live by the holiday restrictions that are declared by state governments. Multiple celebrities have already shown in California that their households aren’t wearing masks for Thanksgiving and have more than 10 people indoors.
would stop after the election, but should have known better.
= = = = = = = =
Probably would have - for the most point - had JB won straight out and PDJT had conceded.
Now ‘they’ can keep the draconian restrictions on to divert peoples attention from the various idiosyncrasies of the 2020 election process.
AND, these libs don’t mind ‘egg on their faces’ etc so an abrupt halt probably wouldn’t be all that outlandish.
Earlier thread(s) pointed out that Holiday gatherings, Church gatherings, informal gatherings etc bring little to the Govt coffers BUT big box stores bring ‘beacoup’ bucks to the party.
Virginia sort of ‘proved’ their bias when they disallowed a gun show and let a Walmart (NEXT DOOR) operate ...
Send me that link so I can go troll Twitter for saying that South Dakota is worst. PM it to me. Please.
