Predicting a historic presidential move, based solely on a retweet: really Alisyn?
On CNN's New Day on Thursday morning, co-host Alisyn Camerota, referencing President Trump's retweet of Rep. Matt Gaetz's tweet suggesting that the president pardon himself, said:
"It seems clear this is going to happen."
"Clear?" Camerota offered no evidence beyond the retweet in support of her bold assertion.

I say do it..in secret or in public but do it.

Trump should pardon Hillary. That would piss her off.

Hillary is the one I really wonder about as to whether Obama pardoned her.

They will subpoena years of business records. That will be mountains of paper. If they cannot find anything there, they will just make something up, phony up some evidence (see Michael Flynn and Russia-gate), and make sure it’s tried in Washington DC, where juries will convict any Republican of pretty much anything.
Trump conducted a revolution but did not kill the king. The King’s vengeance will be breathtaking.

Camerota is to journalism as a “Wuhan bat is to good, healthy eating”, only not as cute.
I can’t remember where I heard it and when. It may not be true, and I hope that it isn’t.
