I would think that Fridays news cycle would be taken up with covering the statewide riots going on in Pennsylvania. But, what we'll probably get is a bunch of right-wing blog posts talking about how many bullets we have.

Going back to the days when PA had 21 as the age limit and NY had it at 18 - PA youths would cross the border to get their happy juice...no reason why folks can’t stock up now or make trips across a border to get their fix.

We lived in Pt. Jervis, NY, just across the Delaware River from PA. I imagine the liquor stores there will be very busy tomorrow night. Like every June we’d make a “run for the border” into PA to stocks up on fireworks

Not legal. The legislature didn’t pass a law and the muslim governor of PA didn’t sign it.

Same thing in Rockland County, just across the NJ state line. They also raised the drinking age before NY did. Every Friday and Saturday night the parking lots at the bats and liquor stores were filled with cars with NJ plates

Why?
I don’t understand how allowing people to stock up for secret family gatherings is going to be a “superspreader” event.
The whole curfew thing makes no sense to me. The virus is more contagious at night?

It is a very clever virus. It can tell time, maintain a schedule, and mark special events on a calendar.

Sell wristbands/drink tickets up to 4:59. All alcohol served after 5 is free. Problem solved.
