Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Sheriffs' Association traded critical statements Monday over enforcement of one of Cuomo's recent executive orders limiting non-essential private residential gatherings to no more than 10 individuals.

Cuomo’s edicts are not LAW passed by the legislature.
LAW enforcement personnel are not obligated to enforce them as near as I can see.
God bless the sheriffs.
Upstate NY is really rather conservative and usually goes red.
I can respect reasonable temporary emergency orders but governors do not make our laws. there’s no reason for sheriffs to “enforce” non- laws uttered by governors. We elect legislators to write our laws.
Naw...I think they should enforce it. On that putz Cuomo and his brother Fredo.
Notice that Cuomo doesn’t talk about not enforcing immigration laws, larceny and arson in connection with rioting, and those other types of laws which he believes that he can ignore because he doesn’t agree with them...

Well, it sure is because he has power and can direct that people be arrested in the name of public safety.
He was elected by Democrats in the state and Democrats love power and telling other people what to do. They especially love taking other people’s money and re-distributing it to their fellow Democrats and themselves.
We’re being ruled by elites because the people of the state love the security of being governed by Santa Claus.
So, say toodaloo to the republic because juvenile members of the
electorate don’t want to know about any republic or religious faith or ideas about responsibility.
Junior high school is in session and with a leftist, authoritarian administration in the wings, it’s going to be a long, drawn-out descent into darkness.

Thankfully, the President in his wisdom set the race for a vaccine in motion...and the train ain't stopping for Cuomo.
