The B52 is great against a massed target, but if you want precision targeting, use A-10s. Yes the I know the f@@king US Air Force does not agree.

I would guess that the Massive Ordinance Penetrator will be going with the B-2s to bust the re-enforced concrete bunkers that the Iranians have for their nuclear facilities.

The A-10 is useless except in undefended airspace, or in a situation where its life expectancy is measured in hours, as it would have been against Warsaw Pact forces in an all-out war in the 1980’s. The B-52 can launch 20 cruise missiles against targets as far as 600 miles away.
