Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie criticized President Donald Trump’s legal team Sunday morning, calling its continued legal challenges and allegations of widespread electoral fraud “a national embarrassment.”
On ABC’s “This Week,” Christie repeatedly chastised Trump’s lawyers for alleging fraud in interviews and press conferences despite their lawsuits pleading otherwise, and called for their legal challenges to end.
“The legal team has been a national embarrassment… They allege fraud outside the courtroom, but when they go inside the courtroom, they don’t plead fraud and they don’t argue fraud,” Christie said.
He also called out Trump lawyer Sidney Powell, criticizing her for accusing Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp of committing a crime, only to be “unwilling to go on TV and defend and lay out the evidence that she supposedly has.”
“I voted for [Trump] twice,” Christie added, “but elections have consequences, and we cannot continue to act as if something happened here that didn’t happen. You have an obligation to present the evidence, [but] the evidence has not been presented.”
Trump’s legal team, led by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, has said without evidence that millions of votes in multiple swing states were switched from Trump to President-elect Joe Biden, and has falsely alleged that the amount of votes tallied in cities including Detroit and Philadelphia exceeded the number of registered voters living in them.
One of the lawsuits Giuliani led in Michigan used data that reflected towns in Minnesota.
Christie also pointed to conservative media figures who have criticized Trump’s legal team for their refusal to provide evidence.
“If you are unwilling to come forward and present the evidence, it must mean the evidence doesn’t exist,” Christie said, referring to Fox News’ Host Tucker Carlson’s recent criticism of Trump’s legal team along similar lines.

Christie is right. Trump’s lawyers have to prove their fraud case and quit losing so these cases. If they can’t, Trump needs to move on to a new strategy such as his legacy or 2024.

Romney was when Fat Bastard deliberately held a big hug and kiss fest just 3 days before the 2012 election, which totally stopped Romney’s momentum. The NJ Governors have been rotten for decades. Either leftist or establishment hacks (usually both). I believe you’d have to go all the way back to Charles Edison (1941-44) to find a center-right Governor (albeit he was a Dem, but later founded the NY Conservative Party).
It’s a shame Bret Schundler didn’t get a chance to serve. He did wonders for Jersey City, but because when he ran, he wasn’t an “insider”, he had to be destroyed by the corrupt RINO establishment of Whitman-DiFrancesco. Better the criminal fag Stalinazi degenerate Demonrat than a proven successful Mayor.
Willard the Rat was a ringer. He wasn’t attempting to do anything but prevent a Conservative or outsider from getting the GOP nomination for President in 2012 (ditto in 2008).

The major legal efforts are coming together for filing this week. They had to buy time to collect the massive amount of vote fraud going on.
They succeeded. Now it needs to be put into strong filings.
Christie is just acting out he didn’t get a cabinet position and he’s buddying up to the GOPe for something in the future.
How people don’t get any of this is odd.
I was not happy when I read that Christie was the one playing Biden in debate coaching with Trump. Why let that weasel back in.

The last time Christie was right about anything, outside of how many donuts to consume, was when he was in kindergarten.
Christie has been eating people out of house and home since forever.
It's not just an NJ problem. Where are the good governors? Who were they? (Leave Reagan out of it!) I'd say Chris Christie was probably a better governor than at least 90% of the State Governors who held office during the past 50 years.

These RINOs and traitors and "What's in it for me?" guys were ready to bail when the first phony polls came out showing Texas, Florida and Alaska were ready to dump the President.
Our big problem: If we are true to our beliefs, we have a handful of people like Sen Ted Cruz around we (probably) can trust but the GOP will splinter and crash if only 20% strength in elections.
Dems will be ironclad locked together (unless AOC & BLM turn some off---hasn't really happened---ever---so far.)
Remember folks Ann Coulter loved the two guys betraying Trump: Romney and Christie. She is not conservative.
