SALT LAKE CITY -- A Utah-based coffee company says it will end its sponsorship of a Blaze Media podcast after the host shared a photo of Kyle Rittenhouse wearing a T-shirt with the company's logo, according to a report from The Salt Lake Tribune.
Elijah Schaffer, a reporter at Blaze Media, tweeted a since-removed photo of the 17-year-old wearing a Black Rifle Coffee Company shirt with the caption, “Kyle Rittenhouse drinks the best coffee in America.” The teenager, accused of killing two people during protests in Wisconsin in August, was released Friday after supporters raised his $2 million bail.

“I firmly believe they did pull it and then realize their e’f up and tried to weasel out of it.....if they want us to believe them a hefty donation to Kyle’s defense fund would go a long way!!!!”
Agree and it should be noted that supporting the funding of his DEFENSE does not necessarily mean supporting what he did - only that he has the resources to get a FAIR TRIAL.
This pretty much say's it all friend!!!!
Yo-Yo i will take your word for it.
I listen to Crowder at work sometimes, will be interesting to see if those guys have any input.
What is wrong with you people? They didn’t drop their sponsorship because the podcast host showed a picture of the kid in their T-shirt; they dropped because he showed a picture of the kid WITH a completely inappropriate caption tying BRCC to someone on trial (even if unjustly) for murder. If I were them I’d unequivocally yank support too. What the Blaze dude did is totally inappropriate.
For those unaware, which is probably all of you clueless, curmudgeonly reactionaries, BRCC’s motto is “coffee for people who love America” so what the host did was inappropriately play off of the company’s tagline, associating it WITHOUT PERMISSION to a toxic societal situation.
I will proudly continue our monthly BRCC subscription (their coffee is delicious, it’s made in America, roasts are named after guns and other patriotic themes, they deliberately use veteran-owned businesses as vendors, they send coffee to troops and cops, they are proudly patriotic, and customer service is phenomenal) and plan to buy even more BRCC stuff as Christmas gifts.
I suggest all of you complaining about this and speculating about what kind of “sham” company BRCC is actually visit their website and take a look. Here, I’ll make it easy:

Maybe their “Thin Blue Line” roast supporting cops will be of interest?

Or what about “Freedom Fuel” roast?

Misunderstanding, really? Have they since fired the spokesperson who made the statement? Have they returned sponsorship to the podcast? Have they apologized and supported Rittenhouse publicly? No? thought so.... Once again, NO MORE BRCC. Feel free to keep trying and trolling on their behalf though, we shall see how many people you will convince.
I don’t, and now, won’t drink their coffee...Seems as if they talked but didn’t walk...Whatever, when political/cultural news comes out of Salt Lake, it is instructive to remember that the last seven mayors are or were elected as Rats. Salt Lake is Romney territory.
An alternative non-lefty coffee roaster:

Nope, haven’t tried them yet. But I suppose I will since I won’t be ordering BRCC anymore :|
“We do not support legal advocacy efforts,” said co-founder Evan Hafer in a statement. “We do not sponsor nor do we have a relationship with the 17-year-old facing charges in Kenosha, WI.”
This is what they said!!!! Pretty Chicken sh!t to me!!!!
Black Rifle Coffee? Pink Pussie Hat is more appropriate.
The never pulled sponsorship to the podcast. BRCC sponsors Blaze Media, and in turn all podcasts on Blaze, including Slightly Offen*ive, Crowder, and others all get a piece.
Enjoy the day.
Only a matter of time before they change their name from Black Rifle Coffee to something which will not offend liberals.
I don't think so...an appropriate response would be "We are proud to see a brave and fine young man like Kyle Rittenhouse endorsing our product and we stand by him through this atrocity he is being subjected to"
I suggest “Pellet Gun Coffee” !!!!
Both founders are very pro military, pro second ammendment, but not necessarily conservative.
This does not surprise me that they do not want to be involved in the case
A lot of people think the defendant was criminally stupid.
However, I won’t buy the coffee
_ucker and BRCC chose to do it, first.
Pro Self Defense goes hand in hand with Pro 2A. If they are not for the former, then they do not stand for the latter.
Why would you expect special ops to support a kid who put himself in harms way for nothing?
That kid was stupid. His life is over in the US even if he doesn’t spend time in jail.
Only if one thinks it's stupid to keep some Communist idiot from murdering you!!!!
So they yo-yoed on the sponsorship, great. Have they since fired the spokesperson who made the statement? MOST IMPORTANTLY: have they apologized and supported Rittenhouse publicly? You have a nice day too.
Wow!
If you lived 250 years ago, you would be throwing the Founding Father’s under the bus too.
Times like these let you see who your true allies are. And you certainly are not on that list.
