Biden Corruption Allegations Have 32% of Democrats Asking for a Special Counsel to Investigate (Rasmussen Poll)
PJ Media ^ | 11/22/2020 | Stacey Lennox

According to a poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports for Just the News, 32% of Democrats and a majority of registered voters want a special counsel appointed to investigate allegations of corruption against the Biden family. The poll asked, “If Joe Biden becomes president, should a special counsel be appointed to investigate allegations of corruption involving his family’s dealings with China and Ukraine?”

The overall results of the survey of 1,200 registered voters are partially due to corporate media malfeasance in vetting the Democrat nominee during the general election. Some liberal-leaning outlets like The New York Times and Politico had written stories on the Biden family’s shady foreign business deals, even during the 2020 primary. Then they all had Trump-induced dementia regarding their own reporting during the general election. The DNC establishment had decided Biden was the nominee, and President Trump needed to be defeated at all costs.

When the most damning and corroborated evidence was obtained from Hunter Biden’s laptop, the corporate media was joined by Big Tech in suppressing and discrediting the information. Right-leaning media outlets documented how the information breaking in the New York Post was actively suppressed online. Corporate media outlets and their contributors straight from the deep state dismissed the story as “Russian disinformation.”

I am sooo freakin' done with "Special Counsels" (and "Independent Counsels"). Can we have a properly functioning Department of Justice that we can trust?

I was watching Sidney Powell's appearance on Newsmax TV last night, and I about choked when one of the hosts spoke of the "Trump controlled Justice Department." Sidney's response was awesome, going so far to observe that even Bill Barr doesn't seem to have full control.

I’m sorry to say it but Sydney goes too far in her statements.

If we don’t win this election, or if it was stolen, so many great opportunities lost.

They might vigorously go after Biden - to get him out of the way to install an actual communist.

The words “President” and “Joe Biden” must NEVER be used in the same sentence.

When President Trump is re-elected, he should replace Barr with Sydney Powell, and Wray with Giuliani.

He doesn’t. He’s just an impotent figurehead who lacks the fortitude to lead his own agency. He is a pathetic figure.

In addition to wanting Harris installed, Biden’s endless gaffes, brain freezes and feebleness are becoming obvious to the Left. They want him out of the way once he serves their purposes.

That seems to be the case. Is he constrained by law or union contracts in firing people at the DOJ? If that is the case, the path needs to be cleared. Barr and every replacement going forward can hide behind that. The DOJ needs to be stripped clean.

While Barr has to contend with lots of constraints in his position, so does every other cabinet member. It goes with the territory. But it doesn’t stop Barr (or any executive for that matter) from establishing priorities and defining tasks for those under him. You can’t let personal conflicts get in the way of your agenda.

Barr is simply too weak to be in the job. If someone like Rudy was in charge you’d see a much different department.

That said, I agree that the DOJ and FBI are so obviously politicized that major reorganizations are inevitable. Rampant corruption and partisanship have already destroyed their credibility. If Trump gets re-elected I expect major changes.

I think this 32 percent number tells us what percentage of Democrats voted for Trump.

It’s a big landslidey type of number.

I agree. My point is that agency executives need to tools to do their jobs. I get real binary when it comes to employees. Either you trust them or you don't. That comes from past performance. No trust leads to immediate dismissal. That's not something that happens in government. Barr could use some old school Japanese management practices - don't fire, just put them in a warehouse somewhere with chairs - no desks, no phones, no computers. Let them quit from boredom.
