Dang! That’s not much promised. I hope you get more than that. We both always seemed to get left out of the rainy weather. Pooh!

A very pleasant good Saturday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks to the Canteen DJ's for posting the music to today's thread.
How's everyone doing this morning?

Yeah, not much for us on Sunday. The one mid0week is SUPPOSED to have more moisture with it but I’m not holding my breath on that.
With all the leaves falling, it’s a little unnerving that it’s so dry. We had some pretty stiff wind Wed. and they were warning people to not have any brush fires and such.
We aren’t even comfortable burning our trash these days.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
I hope you had beautiful weather like we did for your romp at the lake with Gizmo.
Did he run your legs off? :-)

Yikes! You sure don’t need any brush fires so I hope it rains enough to soak everything good. Not the greatest when you can’t burn the trash!

Good evening, radu....very little sanity let at all.
The morning was a mess that I thought was finished and all cleared up. Eventually they got it together and decided it was fixed. I am so glad the weekend is here.
Hope your day has gone well and maybe some rain is in sight.

Nope, no wildfires are needed or wanted. It was around this time 4 years ago that Gatlinburg was practically wiped out and no one wants a repeat of that kind of event anywhere I the state. Bad time of year for big fires because of all the dead leaves added to the mix. Our area’s dry enough that it could happen.
We can safely burn trash if there isn’t any wind but getting those windless days isn’t always easy. With fronts coming through often, there always seems to be at least a breeze that can carry sparks. But we manage.

Well, there were quite a few people out at the lake yesterday but, I did get some really AWESOME headshots of Gizmo.

Hey there, Kathy.
Just can’t catch a break, can you? At least they finally got their act together.
And now you get to sleep late a couple of days. :-) I hope you get some “you” time to just do nothing if you so choose this weekend.
My day went well enough, I reckon. Nothing to get excited about. I did accomplish a little more on the lamps tonight and that was my highlight. Exciting day, huh? LOL

Sounds like it was a warm day and people wanted to take advantage of it while they can. It doesn’t look like the crowds hampered your wandering, at least. I see Giz made a beeline for the rocks again. LOL
You did get some great head shots of him. He’s such a happy lil feller.
