I try to jump in with an update of the abysmal Nursing Home death toll in Pennsylvania every day mostly to bring exposure—and, hopefully, shame and embarrassment and maybe even, some day, criminal prosecution against the officials who inflicted that geriatric genocide.
It takes me about three minutes to assemble the data and type the reply...a tiny fraction of the time which D1 invests on our behalf.

Oh, Lord. Another un-informed post. (I hesitate to use the word “ignorant” as that gets misinterpreted beyond the strict dictionary definition.)
For starters:
Ok, I’ve obviously not heard every statement, but I’ve heard no official, not even ones I detest, claim that cloth masks stop a respiratory virus. Masks PROPERLY used and of good material can reduce transmission / slow spread, and buy time for vaccine, facility, and treatment development, but I’ve not heard even that bastard Cuomo claim cloth masks can “stop” a virus.
Specific to the ME, most of the “masking” is of the women, and, in most ME countries, they aren’t out and about “spreading” nearly so much as the men.
Proper mask (veil) etiquette with regards to viruses was virtually unheard of in the ME during the MERS outbreak. Granted that most of our population is also ignorant on this point, which is a major complaint of mine. (If we are to wear masks, where are the constant reminders of how to go about it to actually receive some benefit? Per Occam’s Razor, this is unlikely “diabolical”, it is simple incompetence from our pols.)
All things considered, MERS in fact WAS fairly well contained in the ME. Did veils and such help? Maybe a little.

Look, you probably mean well, but posts like yours I’m replying to make FR look like a collection of Jed Clampett’s without the wisdom.
I would argue that people who fear seeing the data published, analyzed for oddities, calmly discussed, etc., and assume that “scares” others, are themselves rabbits.
For “scare” go to the media. Good grief!
On a different subject, it seems to me that serious / critical cases, while steadily rising, are not doing so at a sustained exponential rate, which would be a lot bigger problem than what we seem to be seeing at present.
Over 2.4 million people die in US every year. Nearly 45,000 of them die in road accidents. Also homicides, drunk driving and poisoning are killing over 17.000 people. Also researches showed that every year over 178,000 people die because of wrong medication or hospital errors.
That single paragraph is more relevant than your tons of data dumps each day. Think about it and think about what your dumps are leaving out (or are just hidden from someone who doesn’t have 2 hours to scan every line you dump.
I don’t always comment but I try to review your posts everyday. There are certain data points I tend to focus on, such a serious/critical cases to determine hospital utilization. The people who say this is all leftist propaganda have their heads in the sand. This is a serious health problem. I have lost, or almost lost, family and friends to this disease. On the other hand, our media and public health response to this has been deplorable.
Ultimately it is the responsibility of the public to come to an informed decision on what is the best plan for America free from hyperbole and polemic. Your posts help provide the information necessary for that. Thank you.

I’m glad you find some value in it. I also think watching
the Serious/Critical case load is informative.
Like you I don’t think this is totally smoke and mirrors.
Yes, the Left is trying to game it, and I think in some
instances they fudge figures. I think we’re all aware of
that.
None the less, I do believe there is a pandemic in play
here. I don’t believe over 230 nations around the world
are in on some big plot to toss Trump out on his head.
Something is going on here.
Some folks believe testing is not trustworthy.
Some folks think the New Cases are false flags.
Some folks believe the mortality figures are skewed.
You know what, with a mindset like this, pretty soon you
don’t believe in anything.
Hospitals don’t have wings set aside for COVID patients
just to take down Trump. They are seeing people sick
with COVID-19.
Testing is being done on a large scale. I don’t dismiss
all of the test results. People are having to test to
go back to work or attend on site work.
Medical staff have to be tested.
To believe what some folks here believe, none of this is
necessary and everyone is pretending everything.
As some point that just winds up with a person becoming
a full blown kook.
We are all aware of the stories that float around. I do
not think we should accept everything that is claimed
about this disease, but on the other hand there is value
in keeping tabs on things.
This is not totally make believe. It’s not totally
believable either, but there has to be some middle
ground.
Those that totally dismiss it, aren’t willing to look at
the situation in an even handed manner. They don’t think
logically. They don’t ask themselves why some of these
things are taking place.
I think the reactions to what is going on are crazy on
both ends of the spectrum. We have governors ordering
lockdowns and forbidding family gatherings. We have
people dismissing everything. “No it doesn’t exist” Yes
unfortunately it does.
I particularly find it humorous when people come and
post things we’re all aware of, as if it’s proof positive
that none of this is real.
I do believe in conspiracies at times, but to believe this
is NOTHING but a big hoax, forget the global nature of
this, the hundreds of thousands of people in the health
care industry who are faced with it every day in the
medical community, and the massive network of testing
that is out there in every community to clear folks for
work are verify if someone has the disease.
It’s impossible for every one of those people to be working
for a common goal and falsifying everything. Sooner or
later someone would go pubic with what they are being
ordered to do. Then others would also. Before you know
it, the gig would be up.
That isn’t happening.
Sorry - I guess I’m just not a huge numbers wonk.
And I see the Fake News and Left doing everything they can to overwhelm us with scare tactic numbers which makes me grit my teeth.
My problem, not yours.
