A federal judge appointed by President Donald Trump rejected what he called a “creative” lawsuit on Thursday. It was a suit that Georgia’s assistant attorney general warned would cause the Peach State’s largest disenfranchisement since the Jim Crow era.
“To halt the certification at literally the 11th hour would breed confusion and disenfranchisement that I find have no basis in fact and law,” U.S. District Judge Steven Grimberg declared at the end of a roughly two-and-a-half hour hearing.
The celebrity attorney making the breathtaking request was L. Lin Wood, Jr., who also represented former U.S. Congressman Gary Condit and the alleged victim in the Kobe Bryant case. Wood has also represented Nicholas Sandmann and JonBenét Ramsey’s family. Wood currently represents Kyle Rittenhouse and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
While Wood sued in his capacity as an average Georgia voter, the judge made clear that this did not give the lawyer a basis to sue.
“There is no doubt that the right to vote, even an individual’s right to vote is sacrosanct,” Judge Grimberg added, adding that this “doesn’t mean that individual voters have the right to dictate” the manner in which that vote is counted.

No, this was a TRO and he did not guarantee a win.
This is headed to the Supreme Court. It always was...
MI can NOT certify on Monday BECAUSE to election officials in Wayne county DID NOT certify!!!
Not just this thread. Even reliably optimistic Freepers like LS, who would always, unfailingly predicted a Republican triumph in every election, has given up and moved on.
Trump is making some big mistakes with Judges. It appears the Kavanaugh was a big mistake. Watch he and Roberts make the same decision on everything.
That is really the post of the day.
nwrep has been here 18 years, six years longer than you.
I thought a majority of the board of canvassers had to sign the document certifying the election. The 2 democrats did but none of the 2 republicans signed it. So Michigan can’t certify the whole state by Monday.
Larry Klayman sounded an alarm about these Trump judge picks a couple of years ago....

1. A motion to delay certification of GA vote based on a flawed recount was denied this evening by Atlanta Judge Steven D. Grimberg. The oral ruling was unclear but he may have overreached to dismiss my claim that election was unlawful due to @GaSecofState consent agreement
2. The recount issue was separate from unlawful election issue. Sounded like Court thinks a GA voter has NO standing to challenge unlawful federal election. Lawyer for Sec. Of State suggested only state AG could do so. What? AG represents @GaSecofState. Makes no sense.
3. GA voters have rights. It is OUR right to vote. We The People must have legal right to challenge backroom deals cut by state officials. They will not sue each other.
An appeal will be filed to Eleventh Circuit.
I did not do this for GA voters because it was easy. Stay tuned.

We didn’t lose. The election is being stolen through fraud.
Let the fraud stand and it just gets repeated and worse.
It’s the courts or the streets. Lose this fight and the USA is over.
I remember the case summary by Lincoln Wood was based solidly on state law leaving no wiggle room.
This judge just wrote his own law.
” Judge Grimberg added, adding that this “doesn’t mean that individual voters have the right to dictate” the manner in which that vote is counted.”
Deep State mindset, says it all.
“Wow this thread is Eeyore central!”
Yeah, no kidding. They should put on their little yellow elephant badges and report to DU right now.
Well, there is an appeal possibility.
“ Very much echoes Stalin”
Exactly why I’ve cancelled my voter registration after this. If I’m going to be disenfranchised, I’ll do it myself. I am not (yet) required to participate in a sham and a fraud (though I’m sure that too is coming).

“MI can NOT certify on Monday BECAUSE to election officials in Wayne county DID NOT certify!!!”
Well the MI SOS just said their certification is final in the states eyes and they can’t recant their certification and they plan to vote Monday.
I don’t know MI law but heard the SOS say the initial certification gave them all the requirements they need to proceed.
