Jennifer O’Malley Dillon previously served as Biden’s campaign manager – but before that, she managed Beto O’Rourke's 2020 campaign until he withdrew from the race.
The former Texas congressman declared during a Sept. 2019 primary debate: "Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47."
A few weeks later, O’Malley Dillon appeared in a video, posted on O’Rourke’s YouTube channel, touting the campaign's plan for "mandatory" buybacks of certain firearms, in addition to a new ban on assault-style weapons.
"We are actually the only campaign with a plan…that supports mandatory buybacks of weapons of war,” she says in the video. "An assault weapon ban is very, very important, and we need to have it. But that only takes weapons of war off the streets in the future. It does nothing for weapons of war that are currently out there."
She estimated the mandatory buyback would affect "15 or 16 million" guns.

I know I’m preaching to the chior; it has to be said. If it’s mandatory, it’s not a buy back. It’s confiscation.
How can you legally buy back what you did not sell?
Just what we need another Cupid Stunt!
Mandatory buy backs.Yea only with the consent of the owner and at the retail purchase price. Otherwise too hell with that idea.
Fine. Start with the criminals. When you’ve bought back all the guns from the criminals, only then should you continue on to the law abiding citizens.

Its not a “buy back” under any circumstances. The government never owned the weapons to start with so they can’t buy BACK. It just shows leftist mentality.
After evaluating the potential buyer, I find them to be dangerous, dishonest, and untrustworthy. I can’t make that “sale.”
How can an entity buy something back they never sold to me?
Buy back? Did they sell them? What about their mental health and do they have any felons that will be buying them back? I demand a background check on the gov’t to see if they’re qualified to buy a firearm.
The reason for the battle at Lexington and Concord right there.
I want Biden and his deputy to personally come to get mine.
Once the precedent is set, there is no limit to the property they can confiscate.
Also, a bit of a dilemma for them. Do they believe more in the nanny state or their own security.
Or maybe they are like your typical leftist liberal who are hypocrites.
There is a lot of farm land were I live. Those trying to confiscate weapons around here may wind up as tractor food.
Bring it. I am tired of waiting. And bring body bags. For both sides.
Molon Labe.
Also, under the law, they can’t seize something without compensation. A “buyback” is just a seizure with legally mandated compensation.
