Hunter Biden, hello?
At the end of a panel discussion this morning on CNN's New Day about President Trump's challenges to the election results, co-host John Berman swiped at Rudy Giuliani:
"And by the way, you know, there are reports in The Times and other places that Rudy Giuliani wants to charge $20,000 a day for his "legal services." And yes, that did merit air quotes right there. And there have been these questions about, oh, is Rudy maybe lacking mental acuity, has he slipped a little bit?
You know, I think we can stop grading him on a curve. Take him at his word that he knows what he's doing here. He’s trying to bilk the Trump campaign for money at the same time demonstrating questionable moral values. And the question about whether this taints his legacy — this is his legacy at this point."

AT&T’s new Chairman of the Board is William Kennard.
William Kennard also sits on the Executive Board of Dominion Voting Systems.
When did CNN:
Accuse the Biden family of “trying to bilk” foreigners for Hunter’s air-quotes “services?”
Accuse the Biden family of “questionable moral values,” or speak derisively of the Biden family’s “legacy,” in light of its history of influence-peddling?
Question Joe Biden’s “mental acuity?”
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Rudy isn’t what Rudy once was. But I’d need some kind of real reporting on if he’s charging 20,000 a day? CNN is so full of crap, I can smell them in Ohio.
LOST THE LIBERAL MEDIA CRITICISM PING LIST!
Able to salvage just a few names. Please ping or FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Thanks,
Governs/Mark
CNN is the “Time magazine” of cable news.
CNN is crap, but I’m not 100% convinced they’re wrong about Rudy here.
I’m sure CNN is really worried about Rudy’s “legacy.”
Anyway, if the Trump campaign wants to pay Rudy $20K a day, well, that’s what the market will bear. Up to them. Maybe the campaign should have paid for one more rally in Georgia or a few more commercials there as well!
Oh well, that’s all hindsight.
We can now know that Rudy and Co. are getting
close to the mark. Expect this to ramp up.
The very best lawyers in the country are well compensated.
“Rudy isn’t what Rudy once was.”
Agreed. This article isn’t so much a defense of Rudy as a criticism of CNN for its raging hypocrisy and double-standards.
“Bilking?” Air quote “services?” Hunter Biden, hello??
Are these connections valid for evidence? Or would it be counterproductive?
I would think he’s got people, a huge staff, that he has to pay to do the leg work for him. I doubt if he’s pocketing the full $20,000.
Good point.
A decent lawyer is about 500 an hour. His staff probably has several, and he is probably taking no pay himself. 12 hours a day equals $6000 a day. Let’s say he has 4, probably much more, $24,000 for 48 hours of lawyer each day. Seems reasonable to me.
CNN is crap, but I’m not 100% convinced they’re wrong about Rudy here.

That’s why the media lies. To cast doubt in your mind. Just like the Atlantic fake story about Trump supposedly dissing soldiers. Just like the fake polls.
How many times can anyone buy into their lies?
This article is crap.
They question his mental acuity. They put the phrase "legal services" in quotes. They accuse him of "bilking". They question his "moral values".
Add to that, their 20K per day salary figure is not confirmed.
And you suck this CNN propaganda up.
Meanwhile, our president has put Rudy in charge of stopping the election coup and saving he country.
CNN claims, “without any evidence” ... blah blah blah.
Rudy rolled up his sleeves and was pushing for quick legal action by Team Trump when his original team was unprepared and Trump was getting talked out of being aggressive.
Then he filled in after the PA election law experts got scared away and spent something like 7 hours in court arguing a case they knew the Dem PA courts would rule against them on, just so they could advance it toward their goal of the Supremes.
Was he asking for too much? Who knows exactly how the billing was working but it may well have been for him working crazy hours, with more junion legal staff brought in by him for billing as well.
But the Rudy sniping isn’t helpful.
It’s something that should be discussed, but few seem to GAS.
