MADISON, Wis. (AP) — President Donald Trump has paid $3 million for a partial recount in Wisconsin but has yet to file a petition indicating which counties it is targeting, the Wisconsin Elections Commission said Wednesday.
The Trump campaign has told the commission that it will file the petition by the 5 p.m. deadline, the commission tweeted.
A statewide recount would cost Trump $7.9 million. The $3 million he paid would be enough to cover the $2.8 million cost of a recount in the state’s two most Democratic counties of Milwaukee and Dane. In those counties, Democrat Joe Biden received 577,455 votes. He won statewide by 20,608 votes, based on canvassed results submitted by the counties.

If fraud is found does the state pay back the fees, plus a finder’s fee for rooting out the fraud the state failed to catch?
I figure the Trump campaign knows what they’re doing. But I thought one of the problems of “Bush-Gore” was that Gore only wanted a partial recount in areas of his choosing. I thought that was a no-no. But it seems like this is the plan in WI. Different state, different rules?

For that kind of money, they should be be allowed to tunr those voting machines and software inside out, examine every splotch on the ballots, and tally them with an abacus.

Yes! Go for it. There’s NO way Milwaukee voted Biden after all the DNC/BLM riots looting and burning.
99% of the cheating came from Milwaukee and Dane counties - it always does.
Dane County--345K votes cast. Biden won 75.5% of vote.
Milwaukee County -- 459k votes cast. Biden won 69% of vote.
Those two counties account for 35% of Biden vote in WI.
I thought I heard either Rush or Mark Levin say yesterday that Milwaukee had an 89% turnout, which would be among the highest ever in a presidential election. That number alone seems impossible.
How can the Trump campaign afford all of this? Where do they get the money?

You don’t get it - most if not all the paper ballots are separated form their envelopes so no voter association possible, and after tabulation, the ballots are destroyed - illegal sure, but that’s how Dane and Milwaukee counties roll. What DJT will get is the electronic tabulation and that will show a great deal: what time the vote counting shut down, how long, and how many votes were switched when the count began again 3 hours later.
I can’t believe there is a money requirement for something like this, and I CAN’T believe it is an upfront fee sort of arrangement.
72 Milwaukee precincts, as I recall, had between 90 and 200% turn out which totaled more voters than registered.
Somebody will be filing a lawsuit shortly citing Bush V Gore.
I looked to see if there was an over/under bet on that but didnt see one available...just kidding..because there might actually be one..just not at my bookie.
