A South Dakota nurse says some of her COVID-19 patients still refuse to accept that the virus is “real” — even in their dying moments.
Jodi Doering, an emergency room nurse, said she’s seen gravely ill patients gasping for breath — but adamant that the pandemic doesn’t exist, CNN reported.
“Their last dying words are, ‘This can’t be happening. It’s not real,’” Doering said on CNN’s “New Day” on Monday.

‘I think much of Africa has less contact with China, the origin of the virus’
but northwest Africa, (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Mauritania, among others) have extensive contact with southern reaches of Europe (Spain, France, and Italy...) and supposedly it is the European version of this virus that’s laying everybody low...
I ask, why are these patient’s not on a respirator.
There’s something out there.
Partner, the Chicoms brought this COVID 19 virus to the U.S.
The Chicoms need to pay dearly for this COVID 19 virus being brought out to the world.
You are correct - this is NO killer virus.
I’m 58 and it was a nasty little chest cold that wore me down because it didn’t just go away after the usual 3-4 days. Mind you, I kept working on thru it (because if I don’t work, I don’t get paid..).
I had this constant nagging cough. Seemed like every 45 seconds -A cough.. Hour after hour, day after day - cough.. cough... cough.. turned into a wheeze like my rare bouts with asthma when I was a kid. All night, every night, wheeze and cough.
Lost sleep, got worn down. Constant cough gave me a constant headache.
Like I said, I continued to work through it and it wouldn’t go away like they usually do.
Took away my energy. If I laughed, it sounded like Muttley from that old Saturday morning cartoon and ended up sounding like those life-long chain smokers hacking away.
Turned into a bad chest cold - sorta... None of the usual remedies made it go away.
Until they quarantined us and work stopped and I was forced to stay home - and rest. Here we are six or so months on and my lungs are not the same as they used to be, but I’m fine.
Had chicken pox at 25 and THAT felt like I was dying. This was annoying. Not a killer. Thank goodness I refused the hospital stay that my doctor suggested. I saw what a ventilator does to the human body. THOSE things, I’m my opinion, are what did in a lot of “Covid” victims.
Thanks for your personal story and I am glad you made it.
80% of the population already has an immunity to the Wuhan.
Those are the ones that are asymptomatic or show light symptoms. Probably due to the Wuhan being related to other common viruses. That figure has been reported by different research agencies.
You misunderstand the term “herd immunity”. Herd immunity is reached when a sufficient percentage of members are immune to a specific disease to prevent wide spread infection. The percentage required is variable to the disease (how infectious (as in gain of function), the social concentration of the herd, and general health of the herd members.
Immunity can come from an inherent immunity, getting and recovering from the disease, or a vaccine.
Herd immunity is a condition, not an experiment.
Willing to bet none are getting tested for the flu ergo: the flu vanished and Covid pays far better. 39K for a covid admission.
Telling someone dying of pneumonia they got the “vid” because of a half-assed test that isn’t meant to be a diagnostic tool is demonic.
We came out of the pandemic the first week of April when the number of deaths became minuscule compared to the "cases."
Remember when things began to open up?
Since then we have been lied to.
Excerpt from an email: “Here are the last 10 years of total deaths in the US from all causes:
https://www.macrotrends.net/countries/USA/united-states/death-rate
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/deaths.htm
2010
• Deaths: 2,468,435
• Population: 309,346,863
2011
• Deaths: 2,515,458
• Population: 311,718,857
2012
• Deaths: 2,543,279
• Population: 314,102,623
2013
• Deaths: 2,596,993
• Population: 316,427,395
2014
• Deaths: 2,626,418
• Population: 318,907,401
2015
• Deaths: 2,712,630
• Population: 321,418,820
2016
• Deaths: 2,744,248
• Population: 323,071,342
2017
• Deaths: 2,813,503
• Population: 325,147,121
2018
• Deaths: 2,839,205
• Population: 327,167,439
2019
• Deaths: 2,855,000
• Population: 329,110,439
2020
• As of September 24th there are 2,033,736 total deaths in the US. That is a daily average of 7,588 deaths.
7,588 X 365 days= 2,769,620 is the total number of deaths we could expect in 2020 based on the numbers so far.
So the question is this: How can we have fewer deaths in the US if there is a pandemic going on?
For the last 100 years, there has never been a decrease in total deaths per year in the US.
If this were a normal year, with no pandemic, we should have around 2,875,000 deaths.
But this isn’t a normal year so we should end up with around 3,200,000 deaths when you add in the Covid-19 deaths.
Someone isn’t telling us the truth (media? or government?”
I HIGHLY doubt anyone “dying” from COVID is actually from it.
I know for a FACT that a number of people have died due to the covid shutdown. I have a relative who learned he had prostate cancer (early stage) and was scheduled for a seed implant right when the shutdown occurred. Had to put it off for months. The cancer spread. He is now undergoing a more aggressive treatment plan.
I know several other people who had heart issues and refused to go to the hospital due to the 24/7 panic porn and ended up dying of heart attack as a result.
I have a family member who is a doctor. He said so much focus is on covid at the hospitals they are totally MISSING other diagnosis. One man presented in ER with vomiting and severe abdominal pain. Tested negative for covid. HE was sent home. Had a bowel obstruction. Died.
Thanks for those numbers. Very interesting.
One of my big beefs this year is how everything seems arbitrary, or made-up, or just untrustworthy. The election is one example.
I have seen people here make the assertion that deaths are WAY up this year — so we have the normal deaths of flu and pneumonia, and all the rest PLUS the “massive” death toll of COVID-19 which is why — you see — deaths are WAY up this year.
Of course, I’ve seen the above as an assertion, with no numbers attached.
You just showed numbers. And they tell a very interesting and very different story.
In a world where we are told to “follow the science” or whatever, it would help if the statistics were trustworthy. But about half the statistics (at least!) seem to be “whatever”.
HIPPA laws really don’t cover much. One review i got had some rather harsh things son about how my NICU kid cost the company x amount.
Asked a lawyer about it, and while it was a HIPPA violation, he said that it would end my working career to fight it.
Here in PA 80% of the deaths have been in nursing homes, concentrated in the east with Filthadelphia at the heart.
Very little out in rural areas here.
I'm in the SW corner and we've seen very little.
CNN isn’t the only one. The Democrats are whining daily in letters to the editor about, masks, the lack of a plan, lockdowns, etc etc.
I forgot to mention that mucuous membranes dry up when the weather is cold, reducing your body’s natural defenses against the virus. So hospitalizations for any kind of respiratory virus are going to increase as the weather gets colder.
I thought it was clear that I was referring to the “let’s go out and get infected” method of herd immunity in my comment, given that no vaccine has been distributed yet nor do the majority of Americans have inherent immunity. I am not opposed to herd immunity through vaccination.
1.) A patient with the Kung Flu would not be in emergency but in ICU in the isolation area.
2.) They are sticking patients with respiratory symptoms but testing negative for Kung Flu in the isolation ward with people who have tested positive.
but northwest Africa, (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Mauritania, among others) have extensive contact with southern reaches of Europe (Spain, France, and Italy...) and supposedly it is the European version of this virus that’s laying everybody low...
Could be why South Africa and the northern countries you mentioned have more cases per million than the interior of Africa. Regardless of country though fewer people living in modern buildings breathing in recirculated air = slower spread.
