As many Americans brace for further lockdowns in response to the coronavirus, Dr. Anthony Fauci has a word for them: "Now is the time to do what you’re told."
Fauci was speaking Thursday at Washington National Cathedral with other top health experts on the pandemic, CNBC reported.
The White House coronavirus adviser, who has clashed with President Trump on policy, said the U.S. coronavirus response shouldn't be compared with other countries, because it's not an island with 5 million people that can easily be shut down.
"I was talking with my U.K. colleagues who are saying the U.K. is similar to where we are now, because each of our countries have that independent spirit," he said.
“I can understand that, but now is the time to do what you're told."

How do all you medical doctors feel about Fauci having destroyed your profession with scare tactics masquerading as “science?”
In the long run, we are all dead, with or without face masks and lockdowns.
If we have no liberty, we might as well be dead. Fauci describes a world in which he says we survive but we will quickly face lives not worth living.
There is a very tiny chance we die from COVID 19 but a overwhelming chance of living under endless tyranny.
Give me liberty or give me death ! No mask. No obedience to a quack dictator.

excellent point; and the very first question I plan to ask the next time I see a doctor for anything...I will say ‘you guys conned the nation by falling in with politicians and taking orders from them; how does that fit into your mantra ‘do no harm’...?’

The stranding army is miniscule and non factor in a general secession or uprising. Hell the USA would have a hard time mustering 1,000,000 2/3s of which are trained REMFs.
Law Enforcement and Military are people who do we they’re told. And don’t forget pension and benefits. This isn’t 1775 when the nation was composed of more self-reliant people. Don’t assume backing from anyone. Trust but verify.
Once Mike Osterholm is installed as COVID czar, you will be begging for Tony Fauci to return.
