There’s only one Cuck Brother now.

I’ll bet that didn’t stop David from voting for Biden.

He is correct that president Trump has not cut much fat or waste out of wash DC. And almost no Deep State moles. Tragic! But maybe nobody can? Meanwhile, Mr Koch, don’t count your blessings too fast about getting a D administration. Firstly, if the vote is tried there won’t be a D admin. Second, D’s spend spend spend (and steal )even more than R’s —

This is a fundamental misunderstanding of what “causes” government spending.

The political party system created by Martin Van Buren in 1826 to elect Andrew Jackson was designed to control/gag/eliminate all discussion of slavery in the party so it would NOT become a divisive issue. To coax anti-slave Jackson supporters into backing that, he came up with the “spoils system” which rewarded those who got out the most votes with gubment and party jobs.

By the time the Whigs got on the field a few years later, the system was set. Every election would require giving away massive numbers of jobs to get elected. This was made worse, not better, by the Pendleton Act.

The Tea Party was not immune from this. It is impossible to cut federal budgets without cutting departments and jobs; and without seriously slashing SS and medicare, the two biggest sucks. So the Koch’s were incredibly ignorant or downright stupid to think that the Tea Party could ever do such a thing.

There was only one man who could do such a thing. Donald Trump, because he didn’t play by Van Buren’s rules. He didn’t get elected by giving away jobs. His first round of cabinet people began cutting and were back-stabbed by the Swamp. But he was well on his way to making a severe dent in this system.

And you want to know why that is?

Because "We The People" really don't want them to. All these people who claim they want small government, will scream like banshees when they suggest cutting their pet programs.

The Tea Party rose to prominence in the run-up to the 2010 midterm elections

FTR, it started quite a bit before the "run-up the 2010 midterm elections." (Tax Day, 2009, in fact)

Your comment is essentially correct yes. Still, some minority of us at least recognize that excessive spending is ine of the things that are destroying the country. Abd at any event it’s unsustainable.

And many people are just now coming to the full realization of how corrupt the government is??

There’s brothers Bill and Frederick still around. I watched a highly entertaining movie the other night ; a documentary from 2016...”Sour Grapes”. A segment of the movie involved an interview with Bill showing off his 40,000 bottle wine cellar in his home. Great flick.

The only satisfaction I may get is knowing that when the Revolution comes, the Kochs will be first against the Wall.

Successful businessmen tend to be dolts in politics, mistaking agreement with their views as a mark of political competence and effectiveness. Oddly, Donald Trump is an exception, being a success in both fields — and David Koch thinks Trump is awful. That tells us that it is Koch whom we should think less of.

I don’t know why the press insist on calling him a “libertarian.” He’s a crony-capitalist to the core.

Actually I do know - because the media is stupid, and corrupt.
