You’re getting the same two fronts but you had a day in between them. Eta slowed the first one down today and let the second one catch up. It isn’t an arctic front. Just another one like the first one.
We’re socked in by fog tonight. It’s REALLY thick. I could barely hear the traffic on the highway when I stepped outside, it’s deadened the air so much.

Good evening/morning, ML...((HUGS))...hope you and Penny are able to get out and about in your warm coats.
We are still snowing gently...about 8” on my roof now.

How cool! I haven’t seen this nest before. Not all that interested in ospreys so I haven’t checked the Savannah cams in quite a while.
I wonder where this nest tree is located. The nest is HUGE.
The owl that landed on it seemed mighty excited about it. “Look at this mansion, honey!” LOL

It sure is Friday the 13th. It’s usually a good day for me and a little good luck would be most welcome.

You’re welcome...still working from home til at least January. If they open up the office I will lobby to continue from home. Can’t beat the commute and the dress code is pretty nice.

Good evening, radu...more snow and my plow guy came in daylight instead of the middle of the night.
Has your weather warmed back up yet? Hope so.

Hey there, Kathy.
Nice of your plow guy to show up at a reasonable time of day. I hope he was late enough that not a lot of snow fell after he left. It came down heavy at the airport and it was hard to see the planes land and take off.
I couldn’t believe how busy it was again today. The poor ground crews were kept busy, especially the de-icing crews.
It wasn’t warm here but at least it wasn’t frigid. Just dreary and chilly. Saturday is supposed to be fairly nice, then it cools back off again to 50s and 60s - - where we should be this time of year.

A very pleasant good Friday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country and thanks Beach and Luvie for this morning's thread.
How's everyone doing this morning?

True, tomorrow is only supposed to reach the 50s. But then back to the 80s the day after. It’s a wonder we aren’t all sick from the ups and downs. LOL!
I haven’t seen fog in a long time. I love how quiet it is when it’s foggy.

It is a huge nest. This is the description under the video: "During the Fall of 2014, a pair of Great Horned Owls began frequenting an abandoned Bald Eagle nest adjacent to a protected, nutrient-rich salt marsh along the Georgia coast. This nest sat nearly 80′ above one of the six Audubon International Certified golf courses at The Landings, on Skidaway Island, near Savannah, Georgia. Over the course of 2015 and 2016, a pair of owls successfully fledged four owlets from the site, but they did not return to breed in 2017." I'm not that interested in ospreys either, but have kept the nest just in case the owls decided to come back. And the setting is very pretty.

I think that’s a good decision, and I hope they let you. LOL! You’d officially be one of the pajamahajin. :) Having your own work scedule is a great perk too! AND no slippery parking lots to navigate during winter.

I was quite surprised that it wasn’t really slick, but the temps were up and it was pretty sloppy, and in places just a wet road sans snow or ice.

You’ll be cooler than we will. They’re talking 65 here, then 70 for Saturday. 50s and 60s for next week with lows in the 30s and 40s.
The fog is still pea soup-thick. I can barely hear trains when they pass and they’re normally pretty loud.
