I generally take a dim view of consolation prizes. They symbolize defeat, not victory. Pelosi and the ‘Rats will still be in control of the House, even if it is with a diminished majority. We're at 50 seats in the Senate now. If we win one or two of the seats in GA, we'll have a bare-bones majority, with people like Romney and Collins as kingmakers. If we lose both seats, then we'll have (Vice) President Harris breaking tie votes. Losing control of the Executive, with Biden and the ‘Rats ready to weaponize every aspect of the vast power of the Federal Government, is nothing to feel happy about because we did better than expected on the downticket races.
