PITTSBURGH (KDKA) One week after Election Day and election-related lawsuits are piling up in Pennsylvania.
But so are the ballots.
On Tuesday inside the election warehouse on the North Side, staffers began processing ballots at 9:00 a.m. and continued working through the night. At around 3:00 p.m., there were roughly 27,000 outstanding ballots in Allegheny County.
The process happened in front of 18 observers who represented both Republicans and Democrats, according to county leaders. Outstanding ballots included military and overseas ballots, which could be received until 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Of the 29,000 ballots originally mailed to the wrong voters, 7,000 of those were still under review.
Right now, we are doing a comparison of any spoiled or surrendered ballots at the polling locations to make sure they didnt surrender their correct ballot and vote at the polls. So we want to make sure we do that prior to counting the 7,000, said David Voye, the Allegheny County Elections Division manager.

2,000 more to throw out during the audit
Wow! Talk about doubling down.....
So is it time for People’s Justice Brigades to form up and hunt some of these people down yet?
They all seem to think there is no downside
Perhaps time to introduce the downside ?
Tar & feathering .....
They can count the number of illegal ballots for statistical purposes only, but SCOTUS should slap them down.
Incompetence to the point of gross neglegence.
Tar and Feathering is too kind.
Doxx the board.
Not necessarily - in any normal election I’d agree with you - but with the mail in ballots some cities/states (don’t know about Allegheny) allowed mail in ballots to be dropped off - so they have no postmark. Not sure if they’re referring to the postmark here or some marked date of receipt.
Frankly, given the lack of security, I think a court should rightly toss them out.

So? LOCK THEM UP!
Trying to understand this part: “. . .2,349 ballots without dates. Those ballots were otherwise completed properly, enclosed in both the return and secrecy envelopes, and postmarked by Nov. 3.”
What date is expected beyond the postmark?
Every Pennsylvania County had at least one VBM drop off point prior to Election Day.
That is enough to contest the election right there.
I'm more the hung, drawn and quartered type.
That is insane. Too far away.
