The Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier has deleted a tweet that proved the backlash against the disgraced cable news network has exploded.
On Saturday, yours truly wrote about how the backlash against Fox News hit Defcon 1. To backfill my case, I specifically focused on the withering responses to an innocuous tweet posted by Fox’s Special Report anchor Bret Baier…
“Join me + @marthamaccallum tonight 8pmET on @FoxNews”:
That’s it. That was all Baier tweeted. Nothing controversial. Nothing about the election. He didn’t try to defend his disgraced network’s indefensible decision to call Arizona early, a state that a week later is still too close to call.
All Baier did, as I pointed out Saturday, was ask people to tune in–as anodyne a tweet that was ever tweeted, and yet, the replies, tens of thousands of them, were (according to my good faith look) withering, brutal, and by a margin of around 100-to-1, if not higher.
Here are a few examples of what was going on in Baier’s replies…

They are very much where FOX was at the beginning. As they gather more watchers they will add on talent and advertisers. I left vet the coverage on OAN but their talent is a bit stilted. I go back and forth between the two.

Exactly. If you just change the channel, you are still funding all of the LEFTIST cable news channels in your basic bundle with subscription fees. And the subscription fees are a substantial portion of their revenue.
50% of CNN’s revenue is subscription fees.
So give them a one/two punch. Ratings drop and reduction in subscription fees.
Cancel the LEFTIST media.
We canceled Fox News and Fox Business a few days ago, so now our Dish Network package only carries CNN and local news. If I want Newsmax, I have to sign up for an upgraded package which then also gives us access to Fox News and Fox Business. Can’t have one without the other on Dish. (I won’t upgrade, thank you—I’ll watch Newsmax on my laptop)

Newsmax and OAN are BOTH on Direct TV.
Some folks at Fox are slow on the up tick about socialism and liberalism and PC they are a NO SALE items they all have been exposed for some tome now.
Some people are willing to live on their knees for money honesty be damned.
