Shocked they let him go, after all they’re all tied to the dems some how.

This article, by someone at Fox News, repeatedly refers to Biden as president elect. What a bunch of garbage. I do not recall GWB being referred to as president-elect before the meeting of the electoral college in December 2000.

An appearance of impropriety? Since when does the fake news media cares about that?

“Not much of a speech writer.”
By traditional standards that’s true - but it can be challenging to craft a speech to minimize the odds of Jomentia saying impreezlebranfure.

The guy is a nasally mediocre “wanna be” historian who is a mainstay on NBC programming.
He’s a Bush type Republican who has a tremendous dislike of President Trump.(How shocking)
It’s going to be interesting how never-Trump Republicans defend the Biden/Harris monstrosity, as it weakens America over the next 4 years.

Presidential historian Jon Meacham was reportedly let go as an MSNBC contributor after he apparently failed to disclose to the network that he was a speechwriter for President-elect Joe Biden...I'm amazed MSNBC has exhibited decent journalist ethics. Odd.

Former Time and Newsweek hack. Joe Scarborough crony.
When Biden says "the soul of America" that's Meacham plugging his book/movie of that title.

I’m sure Joe and Mika knew... but some ethical journalist at that network just found out... What’s amazing about this story is that there’s at least one ethical journalists at MSNBC. I would have bet against it...

Not ethics so much as public relations. They thought it looked bad. If the story hadn’t reached the public, but those at the network knew, would he really have been let go?

If the story hadnt reached the public...I suspect you're right x, but sometimes the world feels safer if I pretend there's still real old school journalists out there...people who would protect us if thugs started loading us on to cattle cars...
