This whole story turned around when Trump’s team stood up at the hotel press conference in Philadelphia yesterday and began reading off the names, dates of death, and details about ballot requests among deceased people who had “voted” in Pennsylvania in this election.

They’ve grown a spine over past two days....a lot of GOP now standing up for Trump, particularly AGs....they were probably waiting to hear how reliable and extensive the fraud charges were before committing one way or the other...I am hopeful this is great news

I don’t think DoJ can stop anything in this case. President Trump still has the right to contest the election in court with his attorneys. DoJ cannot stop that. DoJ work will be in parallel. Theoretically, they could use the subpoena power and personnel of DoJ etc... to more fully and timely get access to evidence.
