Sounding like a political consultant furious with his clients, Joe Scarborough went on an absolute tirade against the Democrats on today's Morning Joe, upbraiding them for having veered too far left. Scarborough railed that for the most part, "the election was an absolute repudiation of the Democratic party brand."
And in his own words and that of others, Scarborough warned the Democrats that if they don't change course, they will get destroyed in the 2022 mid-term elections. Or as a Dem congresswoman he quoted colorfully put it, Democrats will get "f---ing torn apart."

Scarborough, of course, isn’t saying this because he opposes Democrats. To the contrary, he is offering them advice because he wants them to win.

They know they are about to have 70 million pissed off people on their hands, and that might give even Joe a little pause.
First, yes, he does take us for fools (if you’re referring to Scarborough, that is).
Second, I vehemently agree with you that the election process needs to be repaired, in every State and municipality, as well as on the Federal level.
How that can be done remains to be seen, since simple things like requiring a voter to have ID here in NC - for example - continues to be squashed and labeled as “disenfranchisement” for people who routinely have to present an ID for govt benefits, etc.
