Pennsylvania looks to be a big player in the 2020 election.
Just like in 2016, when Trump won the state and went on to win the election.
The election nobody thought he’d win? You remember?
Welp, sounds like there is a hidden group of supporters in the state:
Allegheny County councilman in Pennsylvania: 'I'm an elected official. I have had at least a dozen Democratic elected officials tell me that they are voting for Trump... but as Democratic elected officials they can't come out and say it.'
This is similar to federal employees who vote for Trump. Those who do won’t dare come out and say it.
Same for the average person. Its dangerous times we live in, and the Democrats and their brownshirts have made it difficult to tell the truth. I lie to pollsters, I don’t have any Trump signs, and I don’t share my political views except among only trusted friends. Average people don’t want to make themselves a target for thugs.
As Carol Burnett used to say: "Don't... you... DAAHHHRE!"

I am not the least bit surprised. Without fracking Western PA does not really have an economy. Sort of goes with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s endorsement of Trump.

My best friend who I’ve known since I was 4 is a federal employee. His parents were teachers so he leaned democrat his whole life even after being in the Army.
A month ago we went to the gun range and he told me “I’ll never vote for a democrat the rest of my life. The shit they’ve been pulling the last couple years has me furious.”
He can’t be the only usually reliable dem voter switching this election.
There are still some moderate Dems in local offices. They know that they will all be purged by the radicals within the next election after Kamala Harris gets power.
I see a bunch of white Democrats switching parties soon.

Why, oh why does everyone we the adjective Democratic to describe Democrat politicians, Democrat party platforms, Democrat legislation, etc.?

I know it seems like a small thing - but I think words and language are important - and the loss of linguistic clarity inevitably leads to a loss of clear thinking.

My wife is a state employee. She has always been a Republican and a strong supporter of President Trump.
If she went to work and said she voted for Trump they would throw her out a window. She knows of a few other Republicans but they keep it very quiet. It is a sad situation.

I was at a gun store in a blue state earlier today and it was packed with a diverse group of customers. Just an anecdotal observation but I am thinking its not an isolated phenomena and possibly an indication that people from all walks of life probably fear the radical agenda and what it means for their personal safety.
Its not a stretch to think that a lot of these folks will not be voting D.

You’re not understating the level of intensity at all. The retaliation would be on many levels — personal and professional.
Being a conservative in an ideologically hostile environment like that is a tough situation. Its like walking on eggshells. But its a good vantage point to watch the liberals meltdown when they lose. :)
Trump will win PA by 2-3 points on the low end...
But here’s the REAL dirty little secret...
Trump doesn’t need PA to win.
