I should buy a current processor or three so my kids won’t upload me to one of my historical, but functional 486 DX4s....

I have a great deal of vacation land on Europa that I am willing to sell at a huge discount. You'll need to call the Timeshare Exit Team.

Elon Musk is in for a big surprise I have owned the water and mineral rights to Mars since purchasing them form Joe Biden back in 2015.

Yep. You could see him as a modern day Columbus. Columbus never could claim any of our land for himself. And if he had, a country would have come along and taken it in short order.
This story is basically just slow news day noise.

I recently got hooked on, and binge watched, the entire Futurama series. Absolutely hilarious on every level. Their treatment of Mars is priceless. :)

Many asteroid orbits have a periodic close approach. Would take a bit of time to change that to an intersect, thus long term planning would be involved of necessity. The ∆v involved might be as low as 10s of cm/sec at a sensitive point of the orbit.

Yeah. It will be a “politically cleaner” land grab by whoever joins the fight and wins.

There was a whole story arc about Martian Independence on Babylon 5...I guess Elon Musk was a fan.

Going there would (will, hopefully) be cool but unless you have the tech to mine it (if anything is in there) it’s just a big old rock with NO AIR. LOL @ colonists. Musk can crown himself Emperor of Mars if he likes. Like most empires it will probably just bleed money.

I wonder what the Martians would think? They'd be very, VERY angry!
