The states COVID-19 restrictions relaxed immensely when the State Supreme Court ruled against Governor Gretchen Whitmers executive orders.
Now they are slowly being replaced by epidemic orders.
Shortly after new epidemic order changes came down, 9& 10 News Eric Lloyd was able to catch up with Governor Whitmer in Mount Pleasant at a volunteer turn out event. They spoke about the changes coming to the Traverse City region and the state, especially on how she is able to do this, since many Michiganders think she lost her executive order powers.

She needs to be impeached and removed. Imagine if Trump had defied a SCOTUS ruling in such a manner.
Democrats are in for a big shock: youth vote turning to Trump.
Vote for Trump, Re-Open the Bars.
You’re likely right on that.
We need a 1618 Project!
1618 = Third Defenestration of Prague
One one-thousandths of 1 percent.
In the interview she said these orders are law. Well she better get a cell ready for me, because I will not comply...
Is it a coincidence that all of the governors in lockdown states dont have elections this year? I would love correction on this to save me having to do the research myself. Whitmer, Wolf, Pritzger, Newsom. They must think that people will forget 2 years from now.
It’ll probably take twice that for the economy to recover.
The citizens will be reminded every day of that time.
“Everything that is yours...is mine”
“Everything that is mine... is mine”
So let me get this straight....although the Supreme Court struck down her ‘orders’ she thinks that they can just be continued via Michigan HHS?
How does that make any sense? You’re just transferring orders from one part of the government to another. If something is unconstitutional it doesn’t matter what government entity is ‘ordering’ people to do things.
The article implies deaths are increasing with new-cases at the same rates as before, which is not true. There’s no effort to point out that death *rates* have plummeted.
Telling restaurants to get names and phone numbers from patrons, which is only useful if reported to the government, is a violation of the 4th Amendment. I’m not required to provide I.D. and have my travel tracked.
WHEN is somebody going to stand up and declare that the Constitution does NOT have a ‘virus’ exception? They should only be issuing ‘recommended practices’. If we see a virus is like Ebola-on-steroids we’ll all take appropriate measures. It should not be a power of government to IMPOSE behaviors that violate our Constitution. To have such power would obviously lead to abuse of power every time a bad flu comes around.
It’s so un-American I want to puke. It’s OBVIOUSLY overstepping her authority under the Constitution.
I thought Lyndon Baines Johnson had a 200 year lock on the black vote, what happened.
All of these pathetic governors micro-managing peoples lives should be thrown out of office and charged with violating the First Amendment.
Orders flow from regulatory authority over licensed establishments.
I am not licensed by the state health department to be a resident.
And, and just for giggles, The Health Department is an agency of the Executive branch whose orders have been found unConstitutional.
So, what is the reasonable conclusion regarding Health Department orders?
Just.
Don’t.
Comply.
Test the enforceability.
Toss that tea into the harbor!
If asked for my mane, I will give a false name, address, and phone number. F them and F WHITHER!

I thought the Michigan SC has already put this bitch in her place!!
Shes not going to be impeached. People there love her. Theyll elect her again.
Second to Trump, I want to see Cooper thrown out on his @$$ come Tuesday.
Detroit and Ann Arbor love her. Everyone else despises Kaitlyn Jenner.
I wish we could give Detroit to Canada.
