Walmart has good prices on the hardware at least, especially in areas where there is a narrow oligopoly that screws over small businesses (I say this because big box stores has ruined the simpatico local businesses projected). Now you get some adolescent wage slave who could care less about your wants and only smiles because he/she thinks their floor manager/pit boss is looking on.
Trust me, they didn’t have anything useful in stock, anywhere.
It’s all been sold.
I’d be surprised if you could find a good pellet gun and pellets.
Those Sears and Penney’s guns were likely made by Marlin, fine rifles.
My local Wally World had a big sale on guns a I got a Savage Axis II .223 with bull barrel and 4x12 bushell scope for about $288 !
They had two of them and I should have bought them both.
AR lower with 350 Legend upper.
At 70 grains or less a .243 will go through plate armor.
I was in the sporting goods section of my local Walmart store a couple weeks ago, and they had at least a half dozen shotguns still in there. Had some ammo too, but only a few rare hunting rounds like .270 were left.
Same here with 9mm, .357, 38, .22, 7.62mm and 12 ga. Im trying to get ready for whatever
Where?
I’ve been to two in the last month and they were picked clean.
I am counting on there being lots of ammo and firearms laying on the ground for resupply after any riots in my neck of the woods. Oh yeah, and lots of Mr. T starter sets.
Florida. Half of them had cammo paint jobs. Most were smaller than 12.
Big screen tv’s are so yesterday. They be wheelin’ out heavy duty appliances now.
Ruger model 77/44 is still made and a damn fine rifle for deer out to 125 yds or so.
I load my own with Sierra .210 grain HC.
Looks like AZ in the logo.
I think this is a very smart move.
GO TRUMP!!
This is what comes of not locking up the ethnic hair-care products.
Hide ‘em in the back. Looters won’t check there.
Walmart will never see me again. My patronage ended with the way the handled the China Virus in their stores combined with the fact the sell junk from China. This gun story puts the final nail in the coffin. If you recall K-Mart stopped selling guns and made a big stink about it 25 or so years ago. I haven’t been back since. Don’t even know if they are still in business anywhere.
