Former Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson justified another night of riots and looting in Philadelphia by claiming that theres nothing in the Bible which tells people not to steal.
Yes, really.
Numerous stores were trashed and looted while police officers were attacked again in response to the shooting of Walter Wallace Jr., who was killed after advancing towards officers with a knife.
One of the stores targeted was Chick-fil-A, despite its CEO Dan Cathy previously shining a black rappers shoes in a pro-Black Lives Matter stunt.
Responding to the looting, Williamson took to Twitter to declare, There are people in this country more concerned about a Walmart being looted than about an innocent man being killed. Many of them tout the Bible, but Thou shall not loot is not in there. Thou shalt not kill sure is.
Apparently, Williamson is unaware of the Ten Commandments, one of which literally states, Thou shalt not steal.
When respondents pointed out Williamsons embarrassing mistake, she was forced to correct herself, tweeting, Actually, Thou shalt not steal is of course in there. But my point about priorities remains the same.
Apparently, the priority for many in Philly over the last two nights has been to secure some fresh new Jordans from Footlocker and whatever was left to loot at Walmart.
All in the name of justice and Black Lives Matter, of course.
Priorities?
Like stick on your tongue every time ya open your mouth?
List her address and broadcast it to the masses as a shopping opportunity.
She is/was Oprah’s ‘spiritual’ guide....................
Um...It’s one of the Ten Commandments, Marianne— right near where it forbids participating in occult practices like “A Course in Miracles”.
Next Tuesday, God willing, the real America will prevail. There must never be a Governmental attack on individual achievement again!
LOLOL... great movie
Exactly.

What do Democrats care about the Ten Commandments?
Actually, Exodus 21 is all about freeing slaves.
So, does she think we live in a Theocracy? That our civic lives are governed by the Bible? Because we don’t. Render unto Cesar, I’ve always thought that meant a lot more than just paying your taxes.
Maybe it’s in cursive and she couldn’t read it.
It is also quoted by Jesus in Mark 10.19.
You just Marianned yourself.
The Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution in a way that guaranteed religious freedom, that is for each individual to be free to choose Biblical living rather than have it codified unnecessarily and with errors into man-made law.
Oh no? How about the 5th Commandment? Marianne Williamson is a dingbat!
Some verses condemning theft:
Exodus 20:15
Exodus 22:1
Leviticus 19:11
Deuteronomy 5:19
Proverbs 30:8,9
Jeremiah 7:9
Matthew 19:18
Mark 10:19
Luke 18:20
John 10:10
Romans 2:21
Romans 13:9
Ephesians 4:28
All of these verses address the serious sin of theft. But you err in thinking that if there were only a single prohibition against theft that somehow makes theft of less importance. All these prohibitions (the law) describe the complete character of God against which none of us measure up. And here is why:
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
- Jas 2:10-11
“Guilty of all.” God considers the thief a lawbreaker and deserving of the fate earned by all lawbreakers — eternity in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:14,15)
The good news is that no man need die in his sins. Although the wages of sin is death, the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23). This gift is received by faith:
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- Jn 2:23; 3:36
