Agents detained Anthony Smith, a social studies teacher and one of the organizers of the Philadelphia Coalition for Racial Economic and Legal Justice (Philly for REAL Justice), at his home Wednesday morning, his attorney Paul Hetznecker said. His arrest came just days after he was lauded in an article in Philadelphia Magazine for his activism. U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain has scheduled a news conference Thursday to announce the indictments on charges related to police vehicle arsons. Sources familiar with the investigation said it is tied to the unrest that roiled the city in May after the police killing of George Floyd.

Still, carmela could try to raise money for attorney fees and commissary chits for jail. She does portray herself as being about equal just-us. So, how many young black men did she put in jail again in cali?

Why are so many criminals “celebrated members of the community” in Philly? Ira Einhorn was a “celebrated member of the community” there.

Unintentionally funny: the Inquirer describes the events where the alleged crimes took place as heated demonstrations. Thats a new one. Im keeping it.

My social studies teacher was great and had a reputation for strictness and rigor.
Of course that was back in the mid-late 1960s.

Yeah “heated demonstrations” — literally heated from the fires they started; burning cop cars and churches .. how peaceful & tolerant!
