PHILADELPHIA - In the middle of the unrest in Philadelphia, city police are investigating after a van full of explosives and suspicious equipment was found.
The van was found on Logan Circle.
WPVI reports police recovered propane tanks, torches, and possible dynamite sticks from it. The bomb squad is now investigating.
Police haven't said who owns the van, or if any arrests have been made.
“Smells like BS.”

Yesterday I purchased a used 1,000 gallon propane tank for my backup generator. Had to haul it through a metro area on my trailer to get it home.
With all the turmoil, I decided to tarp it to avoid panicking liberals!!

I always purchase my tanks as the price is less than half of the regular price. The tank pays for itself in one fill.
Then I look for a bulk ag supplier. It’s grain drying season right now.
I am hooking to natural gas and have the conversion to propane when needed. I’m testing both. I’m purchasing conversion kits for my major appliances, i.e.stove, furnace,.
I just paid $1,000 for a relatively new, 4 yr old 1,000 gallon tank in like new condition. That was real cheap. Should have been much more.
They are heavy, about 1,800 lbs and 16 ft long. I moved it with a winch, plywood and pipe rollers onto a trailer with a ramp gate. You use two sheets of plywood with pipe rollers between the plywood to move it across grass. My second home is several hundred miles from my farm home so I have no equipment here.
My wife asked me why I wanted propane when we have natural gas. I replied, for the same reason we need a generator when we have electric.
