No, not totally frigid. It’s 43 right now and got up to about 51 this afternoon. Sounds like it’s pretty breezy though.

I think you’re about to get more wind and rain if ol’ Zeta clips your area! It has been a very weird storm.

That’s a lot better than the 34 you had the other day. Not nearly so uncomfortable for your kitties.

It’s already windy here and the center of the storm is still well south of us but it’s moving fast. If I saw correctly on the weather report tonight, they predict 50 mph gusts here and I don’t doubt it with the wind we have now.
Heavier rain isn’t far off. I’ve been keeping an eye on the radar.

I hope it doesn’t get too bad there. I’d hate for you to lose power or trees. Or the *gasp* internet. LOL! You could send the rain my way. We got about .2 out of the 2 days of frozen stuff here. WooHoo.

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

How's everyone doing this morning?

We’ll see how it goes. I keep going out on the carport to enjoy the balmy weather and listen to the wind. I’d like to get out to walk around in it but it’s raining.

The trees are dancing a lot tonight and there’s always the possibility a tree could come down somewhere and take out a power line before this is over, leaving a bunch of us in the dark. I hope not!

I wish some of this rain could have gone your way. You need it more than we do.

Well, all i can say is thank G*d for the retractable leash or else I would have lost Gizmo and had to spend the entire evening looking for him at that large park and all across the lake. The deer all fly like crazy this time of year and you know how young dogs are about wanting to chase them.

Gizmo is a very important part of the house. He's a house protection dog. That's why I don't want to lost him at the lakes.

The temps have warmed up enough to melt off the ice. However, there are still power outages around Lawton/Ft. Sill due to trees being down. They're forecasting winds 20-30 with gusts to 40 today. That's going to be a problem for those weakened trees and power lines in those areas.

Pics from Wichita Ridge yesterday.

Good early morning, mountainlion....did you get snow to help with the fires?

June? Hot? Rainy?

We are in the 20s for a bit and dropping into the teens.

Hooboy! Sounds like yesterday was an adventure. LOL Glad Gizmo didn’t escape because you’d probably STILL be looking for him.

I feel for the folks without power over there. Clean-up after an ice storm takes a while and it’s miserable to be without power when it’s cold. Been there, done that, have the t-shirt.

We have Zeta moving in on us tonight and the wind is already rippin’. This time tomorrow, we’ll have wind from the cold front over your way that’s coming through. We hope we can get through it all without losing power.

There was 12-20 inches across the fire. The temperature got down to Zero. There are still mandatory evacuations although there is no fire nor smoke. It is going to be in the 50’s which will cause problems.

Howdy, EGC! (((hugs)))

Indeed, it's a good thing you have that great leash. Don't need to lose that Gizmo at the lake. Hope it's warming up there like it is hereLove the pictures. This one is my favorite:
