That’s why he rushed it...she would be the vote he didn’t want.

To make an uninformed decision in this type of position is not only irresponsible, it is often criminal. Justices cannot decide based on their “feelings” (unless they are liberal, obviously).

It’s a bad decision, but blaming the newest justice that joined just before the decision (and was uninvolved in the process to come to said decision) is beyond unintelligent, FRiend.

Good thing Lindsey Graham was cordial and gave the dems a week of hearings to make speeches before she could be confirmed.

So you WANT a conservative justice to rule based on no information except her feelings?

Are you out of lithium?

We knew about Roberts. That is why it seems great to have Barret on the Court. Seems.

Why did John Roberts rush it?
He should have included Justice Barrett.

The Constitutional issue here is clear, at least to me.

If the Pennsylvania Legislature provided for extended counting in their provisions for appointing Electors, it’s Constitutional under the Federal Constitution.

If this extended counting was ordered by a court, any court, and it violates the Pennsylvania Legislature’s SOLE POWER to appoint Electors, then it’s unconstitutional.

Yet if that were an Obama appointee, that appointee would have fully participated in this decision. Make book on it.

But let us be high minded and take the high road as the left kicks us in the nethers. Sure, this might cost us the election and result In said Court being packed and rendered irrelevant. But we can take heart knowing we played by the rules and were high minded.

That was going to be my question - thanks....I would expect that this will be the case in quite a few of the cases to be heard soon...Of course that’s not how Lemon CNN will see it.

Last night he said that the president doesn’t WANT ANY VOTES TO BE COUNTED - he conveniently forgot to add - AFTER November 3!!!!! He’s the creep of all creeps!

The minute you talk to anyone, you learn exactly what news outlets they are listening to - verbatim points from the night before!

“They should have waited till she was seated and settled in before refiling.”

I called that exact outcome days ago, as did some others. The PA GOP has to be the g*ddamn stupidest example of the stupid party in any state, and that takes quite an effort.

Exactly. And the PA legislature needs to get off their duffs and tell the court to pound sand, since they have exclusive control over this matter - no acceptance of ballots after the polls close.

Roberts acting as a DNC soldier he purposely did this before Barrett was there by hours. A blatant act of partisanship. The little pricks last chance to f us but good.

It would be worthwhile to discover just what the America/American-hating Democrat/Left Party has on Roberts lest we must conclude he’s a duplicitous dishonorable jurist who lied his way onto the Court (i.e., Roberts is just another “Souter”).

Can we please arrange for Roberts to take a vacation at that same Democrat-owned ranch (or whatever it was) where Scalia was murdered.... er, I mean “suddenly died of natural causes and don’t anyone DARE do an autopsy”? You know, that place?

After Trump wins a second term, of course.
