Dems eat Torres Small alive after she throws Biden under the bus in attempt to salvage political career (NM RadDem Rep has ads supporting O&G while career spent opposing)

On Thursday, President Donald J. Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden faced off for the final 2020 presidential debate where Biden was challenged on multiple fronts by the incumbent President. Probably most shockingly, Trump got Biden to admit on-air that he would flat-out destroy the oil and gas industry.

Trump asked Biden, “Would you close down the oil industry?” Biden responded, “I would transition from the oil industry, yes.” The moderator asked, “Why would you do that,” to which Biden responded, “The oil industry pollutes significantly… because it has to be replaced by renewable energy over time, over time. And I’d stop giving to the oil industry. I’d stop giving them federal subsidies.”

One freshman Democrat U.S. representative, Xochitl Torres Small of New Mexico’s Second Congressional District, took to Twitter to do some damage control, as she has desperately tried to claim she supports the oil and gas industry in the past. However, she has endorsed New Mexico’s “mini” Green New Deal, eradicating the New Mexico oil and gas industry. The industry makes up one-third of the state budget. Torres Small’s husband, state Rep. Nathan Small co-sponsored the far-left anti-oil and gas bill.

In 2018, Torres Small ran as a radical environmentalist, garnering support from Green New Deal-backing groups such as the League of Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club. In the most recent Federal Election Commission filing period, Torres Small took thousands from these radical environmental groups that support the Green New Deal.

After Biden’s “big statement” on oil and gas, Torres Small attempted to distance herself from the former vice president, writing, “I disagree with VP Biden’s statement tonight. Energy is part of the backbone of New Mexico’s economy. We need to work together to promote responsible energy production and stop climate change, not demonize a single industry. I will continue to stand up to my party when they’re out of touch with the reality on the ground in #NM02.”

Torres Small votes 94% of the time with Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. She also previously said she is voting for Joe Biden in the November 2020 election and voted twice to impeach President Trump.

However, Torres Small’s last-ditch effort to win in November by throwing Biden under the bus has irked New Mexico Democrats, who ripped into her on Twitter.

New Mexico state Sen. Jacob Candelaria (D-Bernalillo), wrote multiple statements to her on Twitter, most notably, “There was no demonization going on. This statement is misleading at best.” In response to another commenter, Candelaria wrote, “Not on this issue. @JoeBiden didn’t even come close to demonizing the oil and gas industry. This sort of pandering is what makes climate progress so hard.”

In another tweet, Candelaria wrote, “I’m sorry but this is way off base.”

Senior electoral analyst for the leftist group “Data for Progress,” Aidan Smith, blasted Torres Small, writing, “Fun fact: When one industry is driving the single biggest crisis in human history, it’s not ‘demonization’ to point it out.”

Hamza Shaban of the Washington Post had no words for Torres Small’s tweet, simply re-tweeting the post with the 👀 (eyes) emoji.

Hundreds of others blasted Torres Small, and it is unclear if she will flip back in lockstep with Democrats, as she did when she voted to impeach President Trump amid threats from Democrats that they would refuse to vote for her. Torres Small’s balancing act of sitting on the fence may finally have caught up to her, as voters cannot seem to know where she stands on any given issue. Torres Small faces Republican former state Rep. Yvette Herrell in the November 3 General Election.

She has very slick ads all over the local and cable channels with oil rigs and supposed oil industry supporters. Those in the know, know different. From the article:

BTW, Hannity had Newt on last night who said NM may be in play following Biden's debate performance:
"Energy in southern New Mexico is the dominant job for everyone in that region."

When this came up for a House vote there was only 1 demonocrat who voted against it and this is what happened to him

Democratic candidate for America’s Vice President California Sen. Kamala Harris sponsored a Senate bill that would that would force funding public schools to allow biologically male athletes who identify as transgender on girls’ sports teams. :

. In March 2019, Harris cosponsored the Equality Act, which would amend the Civil Rights Act of 1964 . Among other things, the bill would force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3873820/posts
.Also did this http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3877896/posts and this http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3880192/posts

HERE’S HOW THEY TREAT CONSERVATIVE CONGRESSIONAL DEMOCRATS WHO DONT SUPPORT FUNDING STUFF LIKE THIS

And why there is no such thing as a Conservative Catholic Dem in Congress An example is Illinois 3rd district using the 2020 dem primary Where they used remaps of the congressional district and the 2012 ward remap which displaced 33 precincts and placed the dem ward organization office in another ward.

That was done because;

Todays Democrats weren’t happy with Dan Lipinski’s funding votes against abortion and on being the only congressional democrat to vote NO to a House Bill similar to what Harris proposed on allowing men to to call themselves women and compete with women in college sports.
Those who live in Chicago already voted at their local public library. But in the reshaped 3rd Congressional district Daniel Lipinski lost because of redistricting. Of a district which had previously included adjacent Chicago city wards to his 23rd.congressuinal district

That was a district in the 1950’known as the 5th which was a part of the third largest school district in the country run by the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. Those city wards were predominatly composed of dozens of traditional value family oriented Catholic/Christian communities centered around churches and their schools. Hence opposed to funding such things as abortion and LGBT activities rather that dealt exclusively with city issues such as a subway L service and the Stevenson Expressway. These Wards were reliable supporters of Dan’s father, William O Lipinski. But where many had areas with hispanic last names those areas were redistricted and assigned to the Louis Gutieriez’s district. Where areas where buildings were abandoned affected by the no money down home mortgages or had changed because of this.

A ward such as the 14th run for 50 years by Edmund Burke now under corruption charges was remapped to include portions of other wards mainly the 23rd Those results are posted below which actually tear up the concept of a neighborhood and pit people against each other by using division. In some of those wards areas of city blocks which were zoned exclusively for single family dwellings residents suddenly found their neighborhood having houses torn down and being replaced with multiple apartments with the units not required to furnish parking facilities and many renters were illegals. Much of which fit the plans for the suburbs

My view of the NM Congressional races (in a state currently 100% blue):

SENATE-Mark Ronchetti (R) has performed really well in debates vs Ben Ray Lujan (D). This seat was vacated by Tom Udall & IMO is up for grabs. I’m sure the fake polls show Lujan in the lead, but I think Ronchetti has a good shot.

CD1-Deb Haaland (D) is as far left as Torres-Small, if not more. Michelle Garcia-Holmes (R) visited our church a couple weeks ago & I chatted with her a few minutes. She’s a retired ABQ cop & very pro-life. Performed well vs Haaland in a recent debate. Ms Holmes would make an excellent Congresswoman, but CD1 encompasses ABQ, & Haaland has far outraised her. Still I predict a close race.

CD2-Torres-Small & Yvette Herrell competed for this seat in 2018 & the margin was razor thin. It’s close again this year, with some polls showing Herrell with a narrow lead, but within the margin of error. Like the original poster, I see tons of XTS ads on TV (though I’m not in her district), but none for Herrell. I predict Herrell defeats XTS by 1-2%.

CD3-Ben Ray Lujan vacated this seat to run for Senate. Heavy Democrat district. Leger-Fernandez (D) has far outraised Alexis Johnson (R) & will probably win, but hey it’s 2020, so who knows??
