A riot has erupted in Philadelphia after a black male was shot by police after charging at officers with a knife.
The shooting took place shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday, and footage of the incident quickly went viral on social media.
The man, Walter Wallace, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
“Officers ordered him several times to drop the weapon,” Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp said. “He did not do so.”

Seems like the old days. I lived in north Philly for 4 years at college and there was nothing like this. The police under Rizzo didn’t take any crap from anyone rioting, white, black, green or red.
The Democrat mayors of Philly and their Marxist Soros bought Marxist DA, Krashnar, are totally responsible for these riots getting out of hand.
The Philly cops are good people. If they left the streets to the animals, it would make Kenosha, Portland and Seattle look like block parties.
