ummmm, how can he confirm her replacement when the whitehouse only announced it 6 days ago?
the nomination still hasn’t been formally sent to the Senate yet, then it goes through Judiciary committee, then to the Senate floor for a vote.
kudos to Trump for nominating a replacement so quickly...and kudos to Obama for leaving so many vacancies for trump to fill.

Very disappointing. She could have simply abstained.
I have been getting inundated with requests to donate to her campaign even though I am in NJ. Needless to say I won't be sending anything her way now. I have donated to the campaigns of McConnell, Graham, Tillis, McSally and of course - President Trump.
I don't expect her to retain Maine's seat. I don't see many of her signs around the central coast area, and she clearly doesn't like her Republican base. Hate to see a democrap like gideon, who is basically a nazi, take it tho'.
Even a Trump win with a dem senate and house is beyond troubling.
They will definitely try impeachment 2.0 with enough votes to remove Trump. Pence will fall into line and will be easily controllable, unfortunately.

In the immediate aftermath of the confirmation vote, I think cloture was filed on debate for Kirsch, Barrett’s replacement. I was confused when I heard the audio of it. I was pretty giddy at the time, at least that’s what I think I heard.

Collins certainly needs to be replaced. They were voting on her qualifications and nothing more. All the procedural stuff was behind them....and that includes electing President Trump for 4 years....not 3.8 years. Her logic is illogical.
you must have misheard because the nomination hasn’t been formally submitted. I believe Mitch has a couple of district judges lined up for confirmation soon, and hopefully Kirsch will get confirmed during the lame duck session if Trump wins.

Yes, liberal heads are exploding and one of them posted on FB this in reference to ACB and I am wondering if I should keep my mouth shut or respond. Here’s what this person said:
