I posted this thread to focus on a mostly ignored state so far in the presidential/Senate/House race discussions. The Rocky Mountain State. No Trump rallies have come through here recently, which is curious to me given Sen. Cory Gardner's vulnerability and the fact that Trump only lost CO by <3 points four years ago. Plus AZ and NM border CO.
So why the silence?
Ground game: (Jul 2020 excerpt) The ground operation of the combined Republican campaign in Colorado which goes by the team name "Silver Bullet Brigade" dwarfs the GOP's field organization in previous cycles, with 46 paid staffers working out of 11 Trump Victory offices spread across the state, the party said.
Trump campaign, Colorado Republicans log 2 million voter contacts by volunteers
Fundraising: (Aug 2020 excerpt) Colorado residents have donated nearly $5.6 million to Trump, compared with $3.2 million to Biden, according to a Colorado Sun analysis of Federal Election Commission data through the end of June. Coop note: Article says candidate Trump raised <$500K from Coloradans in 2016.
Organizationally the pieces are in place for a strong Trump performance, which could pull Sen. Gardner across the finish line. Yeah, I know the polls are looking tough for Trump and Cory Gardner in CO. You likely also know how I feel about polls. For two reminders, in 2014 Mark Warner led in every poll, with a peak lead of 29 points, yet only defeated Ed Gillespie by <1 point. In 2016 Ron Johnson led in one poll and trailed in 29 other polls, often by double digits, to former Sen. Russ Feingold. Sen. Johnson comfortably won re-election. And how about those 2016 presidential polls? :-)
Pres. Trump seems to be doing well in AZ, NV, all the states surrounding CO, including NM. But trailing horribly in CO? Does not compute.
Radical environmentalists have created the policies that let dead trees buildup for decades in the forests.
Call them out on this Mr President!
Leftists policies are burning down Colorado today!
This crap needs to be changed
It was in Michigan
Colorado has oil & gas. New Mexico too. Corrupt Senile Joe’s intended destruction of the oil industry will not play well and probably opened some undecided eyes.

Senior Trump Campaign Advisor John Pence Stumps With Colorado Republicans
All voting by mail killed any GOP chances in CO like its done in every other state that has implemented this crazy-cheat by-mail
System!
Agreed. We were having a discussion last night about Biden's oil blunder helping Trump out with NM voters. Don't think we mentioned CO, but we should have.

Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
Trump lost New Hampshire by 1000 votes. What crack pipe are you smokin’?
I live in CA, my young adult son in CO. In response to my sons request I wrote a long recitation of Trumps accomplishments that he shared with his largely apolitical friends. My son says they found it persuasive. So Im doing my best to turn out the vote in CO!
He was here early this year, I think.
January or February?
Have you followed the trends in Colorado since 2004? Id be surprised if you havent since youre a local. Trump is not going to waste his time and resources in a state like CO.
I’d love to see Colorado flip for Trump and Gardner win the Senate seat...
Guess they are strategically not fighting in CO.
Lots of libertarians in CO, but the Libertarians are going with a no-name team this year, so could be a couple points closer than last time, though it still seems a bit of a long as OT. Fracking is pretty big here.
Yes, and apparently much more closely than you follow NH trends. I never claimed to be a local. I'm two time zones away.
In Feb 2020 he had a rally in Colorado Springs, a strong military area.
“Does not compute.”
It computes the same way Hickenlooper was reelected as gov: fraud.
I don’t think anybody in CO is doing *anything* about election fraud.
This entire election cycle, I have only counted a handful of Biden signs. Lots of Trump signs and road side Trump rallies.
There was about 120,000 vote differential last election. Can he make that up? I dont know. Possibly.
