Both a face shield and mask will be required when on campus. Face shields are worse with glasses. Everything is super blurry and steams up a lot. I know this as face shields and masks are required in the Philippines.
End up hyperventilating after wearing the combination just for a few minutes. The face mask band just pours sweat down my face. Disgusting all over.
Only time face shields and masks can be removed is once you leave campus, per the campus directors directive. It must absolutely be worn at all times. I suggested a plexiglass partition with a microphone. That was shot down as you must roam around the classroom to assist students.
And the Bay Area just set another Wuhanic Plague record today... Our concerns were noted, but classes will be in campus starting November 2nd.

Plenty of evidence that anyone can access about the effectiveness of the masks. They DO hide your identity to a fair extent, if that’s what you need. Some are perhaps semi-effective while some are said to be basically useless & their bad qualities like retention of germs may outweigh any usefulness. The very best ones need to be changed quite often & I would dare say that is not the ones that most people are wearing. The requirement of wearing masks seems mostly an experiment to see how much tyranny the citizenry will put up with.
If Biden were elected, I’m thinking the science could be rearranged each day to reflect what he thought might be considered “necessary” for our own good.

All private settings or public. Everywhere you go in Oregon people have masks on. But go to a bar, you will find people with no masks drinking, dancing and hugging just been drunk. Almost all of them had the virus already.
All they talk about is cases these days.
I think the real worry is that we’ll have herd immunity before they have a chance to profit off the rushed vaccine.

This universal masking nonsense is the wrong direction to go. However, I suspect the demand to do so by the political establishment and the public sheep will get even worse. Ignorance and a herd mentality are hard to overcome - especially when being touted as "science".
