Fox Business host Lou Dobbs sent a message to South Carolinians on Friday: Feel free to vote Sen. Lindsey Graham out of office in November.
Dobbs, a veteran TV host and staunch supporter of President Trump, criticized the South Carolina Republican over his decision not to subpoena the CEOs of Facebook and Twitter after concerns were raised about potential liberal bias in their fact-checking and social media monitoring of news articles and comments.
Graham had announced that the Senate Judiciary Committee, which he chairs, was close to getting a voluntary appearance by the heads of the companies, and he would wait until after the Nov. 3 election to have a hearing with the Silicon Valley executives.
But Dobbs didn't stop there when attacking Graham.
Dobbs pointed to unanswered questions regarding an investigation led by Graham into whether Obama administration officials had improperly targeted Trump's 2016 presidential campaign amid the Russia investigation. Graham has long gone on cable news shows hinting at major developments in his investigation, but substantial information has yet to come out about what occurred in that time frame.
"I don’t know why anyone in the great state of South Carolina would ever vote for Lindsey Graham," Dobbs said. "It is just outrageous. This is a guy who keeps saying 'stay tuned.' He said he would get to the bottom of Obamagate with the Judiciary Committee, which has been a year and a half, actually longer, of absolute inert response to these pressing issues of our day."
Dobbs also played back Trump's one-time animosity toward Graham, whom he called a "disgrace" in 2016. Graham and Trump have since developed a better relationship, but Graham is typically not considered a loyalist to the president like some of his other Republican colleagues.
"Graham has betrayed President Trump at almost every turn," Dobbs said. "He has betrayed the American people and his oath of office. He's done absolutely nothing to investigate Obamagate except to tell everyone, 'Stay tuned.' Time and time again, 'Stay tuned.' Sen. Graham needs to be tuned out in South Carolina."
Graham, who has held his seat since 2003, is facing a competitive challenge from Democrat Jaime Harrison, whose fundraising efforts have broken national records in the 2020 campaign cycle. The race, likely one of the most closely watched in the country, is considered a "Toss Up" by the nonpartisan Cook Political Report.
Let me give you a clue. Most of the Republican Senators are just like Graham, establishment inside the beltway elitists. They would much prefer Biden in lieu of Trump, especially if Biden would cut them into the booty. But, Trump has to play the hand that he is dealt.
Graham and McConnell have done one think for which our Republic will be eternally grateful, the reversal of the corruption of the Judiciary by liberal judges willing to legislate from the bench. Trump led the way, but it nevery would have happened with those two establishment dandies.
If Trump wins and if he retains control of the Senate, the establishment on the Republican side can be sent packing during the course of his second term and we will end up with a stronger and more conservative Senate and House delegation.
Unfortunately, history suggests that we will do just what you and Dobbs are advocating, hand a victory to Biden and Schumer, so that you can sit on your porch and howl at the moon and bark at the Democrats as they come to take you away.
So go out there and vote for the Democrats, you’ll be so proud of yourself.
I agree that when Graham let Google’s Sundar Pichai, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter’s Jack Dorsey to slither past the Nov. 3rd election it was unforgivable. However, the big picture is, we need every GOP senator elected to keep the DemonKKKrats from getting hold of the senate.

If Trump wins, as it looks now, we will have enough senate seats to guarantee a majority. Amputation of a senator from South Carolina will be good medicine to extract the RINO infection. His committee assignments can then be reassigned to someone who will support the Trump agenda.
Next election we can work on ridding ourselves of other RINOS.

Sorry but no other choice. He is a corrupt, do nothing rino, who only talks the talk. Let him lose and reassign his key committee assignments to someone who will carry out the Trump agenda. Using the power of his senate committee posts, Linda has been more effective than many democrats in blocking Trump. We will still maintain a republican majority without his seat.
