Why doesn’t that dingbat who screwed her way into money drop out? Especially after she cashed in her stocks after she got a confidential coronvirus briefing?

She’s trash.

Yes - the run-off is in early December and the way that works is the truly low information voters who showed up for the Presidential race simply forget to vote in the December election. Those low information voters skew very heavily toward the Democratic Party and I will guarantee you the Republican will win. Looking good for Collins. Loeffler is someone who wanted a trophy for her mantlepiece. Collins is for real. Loeffler’s massive cash advantage is not working.

Won’t get split; they’ll have a run-off.

I have always thought Collins will win. As long as he has enough cash to be on TV etc.

As a GA voter, there is a reason both seats are up for election this November. One is the normal election for the six year term that is currently held by David Perdue.

The other is for the unexpired term of Senator Johnny Isakson who retired last January due to failing health. In that race, as you can see, there are numerous people running in what is called a jungle primary. If no one candidate receives 50% + 1 vote, then there will be a runoff of the top two finishers in January.

Doug Collins is a rock solid conservative, but Kelley Loeffler was an interim appointment of Gov Brian Kemp. She is extremely wealthy and married to the head of the NYSE. I had never even heard of her before. I voted today and voted for Collins.

Let me elucidate. That senate seat was vacated by Isaksen before his term was up. Gov Kemp appointed Loeffler to serve out the remainder. Now the Senate seat is up for reelection with a jungle primary Nov 3rd. The general election which will be between the top two primary candidates is January 15th. Look for Doug Collins to be in a runoff with Loeffler or Warnock.

I’m not sure about that. Some of the dopiest people ever to come out of the human gene pool have been U.S. Senators. If I ever woke up one day and found out that I have to go to work in the same place where Joe Biden, Ted Kennedy and Jeff Flake were employed, I’d probably drown myself.

What do you mean? If they are the top two vote getters, they would face each other in the runoff with no Dem on the ballot.

I was being sarcastic, somewhat, but look at what happened in New Jersey when Lautenberg died.

Moving in the right direction!

Just to expand a little. Trump wanted Collins appointed. Kemp appointed Loeffler instead. Kemp seems to be a rino but not as bad as the rino he beat in the Republican primary for governor. Kemp has been a pretty good governor. Better than the prior governor Deal IMHO.

Wrong way to think of it. There’s the GOP (Uniparty) and there is the Conservative candidate. Collins is the latter.

Understand.

The democrat has the higher %. Georgia will turn purple is this trend hold true.

I already know, by my experience in Gwinnett county that we are going to turn purple. too many liberals moving in are making things unbearable.

I want to move but my son is in college and wants to stay here. In another year the county will complete the STEM school close to my house and my value will go up.

MARTA tax is up AGAIN. I fought it last year and it will pass this time. 1% more sales tax.

Herschel Walker cut a commercial for Loeffler.

I’ve seen it a zillion times.

“IMHO Collins is the more electable (R) in the run off”

I agree, and that will most likely lead me to vote for Collins rather than Loeffler.

Like Trump, I support both. We just have to keep the seat in Republican hands!
