Stacey Abrams is saying she is way ahead of Trump in Georgia . . . /sarc
For all we hear about the Republicans needing women candidates they don’t always fare well in elections. Look at McSally in AZ. I understand that the governor didn’t want to pick her but was pressured by McConnell because he wants more women holding seats.
Well, I sold all my stocks last week of Jan, when it was determined the virus was transmissible - no insider trading on my part
“If only somehow it could be Loeffler and Collins going into the runoff so there would be zero probability of the Democrats getting that seat.”
I would say don’t be so sure with Roberts on the Court, but with Amy, Roberts won’t matter anymore.
CORRECT. Unless DEMOCRAT goes over 50%.
Does the Warnock-Collins-Loeffler race go to a run-off if nobody gets 50%? If not, that one doesnt look good.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
yes. run off for top two if no one exceeds 50% +1 is what I’ve read
Loeffler supported planned parenthood.
special is a “jungle primary.” Republicans are split between two major candidates and democrats united on one. Likely result is a run-off between the democrats and one of the two republicans, with the republican wiinning the run-off.
No, but you were not getting security cleared intel briefings, I don’t think.
There are like 21 people on the ballot. Warlock is running ads telling everyone to look at the bottom of the ballot, because names are in alphabetical order. GA requires 50% + 1 vote to win an election. There will be a runoff in this race.
Top 2 advance to runoff. The fact that 2 R’s combine for 51& and the D is in the low 30’s bodes well for the runoff.
if Rs hold the senate... cocaine mitch and the establishment will not allow Collins to win.

Good news. Especially for Trump
Im still trying to figure out why Collins even wants this job. Trading in his leadership role on a major House committee for a seat as the junior senator from Georgia seems like an odd career move.
She didn’t. Firstly she said she doesn’t control her stocks...which is entirely believable considering she is married to the head of the NYSE. Secondly, the amounts traded were just a few million. That’s a lot to you and I but she and her husband are worth more than half a billion. IOW, the amounts traded were pocket change for her.
Everybody accused was cleared except for NC Republican Bill Burr who really does look dirty and who needs to be replaced during the next primary in a couple years so Republicans can hold onto that seat.
Mitch will accept it ... he is a pragmatist
Being a senator is more prestigious
