HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court ruled unanimously Friday on a key concern surrounding an avalanche of mail-in ballots in the presidential battleground state, prohibiting counties from rejecting ballots because the voter’s signature on it may not resemble their signature on their registration form.
Two Republican justices joined five Democratic justices in the decision.
The verdict was a victory for the state’s top election official, Kathy Boockvar, a Democrat who had asked the court to back her up in a legal dispute with President Donald Trump’s campaign and Republican lawmakers.
“County boards of elections are prohibited from rejecting absentee or mail-in ballots based on signature comparison conducted by county election officials or employees, or as the result of third-party challenges based on signature analysis and comparisons,” the justices wrote.
Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are locked in a battle to win Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes.

One of the very few requirements of absentee/mail-in ballots, the signature should match the signature on file.
Guess they need to revisit that rule because of all the dead voters being disenfranchised because the signature of when they were alive doesn’t match the signature of when they’re dead.
Voter ID wouldn’t work with them either, cuz the decomposition process would make them look different from their voter ID photo.

On this issue, I am bi-furcated. Because I never remember if I signed my middle initial in upper case or lower case when registering to vote.

That will work is Roberts convenes SCOTUS to hear it.
Even is an emergency SCOTUS hearing is heard, there is no way to reverse vote ballots once they’ve been counted.
Question: When amail-in ballot is received, when is it counted? Election day? I think so.
ACB is confirmed Monday Oct 26. SCOTUS would have 8 days to hear this case and stop the theft of the election.
We also need reform badly and one area is that voters must be required to register yearly between 90 days and 30 days before election. Otherwise, the voter rolls can be packed with voters that are no longer in the state or who are dead.

Are the judges saying that the law doesn't allow it so don't do it? Or are they just making it up? Or are they even overruling a law which states that election officials must verify signatures? The article was worthless on checking for any of those.
So, the new “objective” standard is if signatures don’t match and the vote is for Trump, it gets discarded.
