Millions of insurance plans were cancelled due to Obamacare, but Biden says nobody lost their plans

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said during Thursday night's debate that nobody lost their health insurance plans when Obamacare was fully implemented, but millions of individuals had their insurance policies cancelled at the time.

A RAND Corporation study estimated that 5.9 million people lost their insurance plans due to Obamacare's rules and regulations.

Obamacare is the 2010 health care law crafted by former President Obama, for whom Biden served as vice president for both of his terms.

Obama was heavily criticized at the time for telling Americans that if "you like your plan, you can keep your plan," which turned out not to be the case.

Politifact rated Obama's promise the "lie of the year" in 2013.

Trump and Biden each were asked Thursday night how they would handle health care policy if the Supreme Court invalidates Obamacare's individual mandate in the upcoming California v. Texas case.

"What I'm going to do is pass Obamacare with a public option. It will become Bidencare. The public option says in fact if you do not have the wherewithal, if you qualify for Medicaid and you do not have the wherewithal in your state to get Medicaid, you're automatically enrolled, providing competition for insurance companies," Biden said.

Biden rejected the idea that he wants to eliminate private insurance.

"Not one single person with private insurance would lose their insurance under my plan, nor did they under Obamacare. They did not lose their insurance unless they chose they wanted to go to something else," he said.

In response, Trump said Biden's health care plan would amount to socialized medicine, given that the federal government would run the public option.

I can attest that was a flat-out lie, as my family’s plan was canceled due to Obamacare. Biden is a lying f*ck.

My wife and I both lost our insurance. Signed up for 0bama care and then lost our doctors. Those were hard times considering my wife was having health issues.

That’s right. That POS terminated a great plan we had with HIP, and then forced my family onto a series of disasters. That POS eviscerated our health access, and then had the audacity to claim we were “saved” by the ACA.

We managed, but I won’t forget what the POS and his fellow Rats put us through.

My family is among the 20 million the Rat’s didn’t save. GTH, Rats.

I never lost my private coverage, but I had to change plans twice because the premiums went up like a rocket even before Obombacare went into effect.

Not only that, but I would like to hear the reality brought up about how premiums increased 500% or more for just about everyone not eligible for Obama care. Which made health insurance completely unaffordable for many who were also not eligible for O-care either. Many were forced to choose between a mortgage or health insurance because they could not afford both.

Liar, the option we choose via my wife’s Company was considered a Cadillac plan and was eliminated by Obama/Biden care. We lost the ability to decide for ourselves what worked for our situation. The premiums sure as hell didn’t go down either when we had to drop to a lower tier plan and not because her Company backed off on their contributions.

Bimentia is such a petty, vial, little prick.

The vastly higher prices and deductibles for private insurance plans after Obamacare is something that President Trump should mention often. The hundred million Americans who have private insurance know this well.

Liar.

I lost mine, and not by choice.

I knew a number of people who lost their insurance.

$1,600.00 a month and a $10,000.00 deductible is not affordable.

My all time favorite Obombacare lie, that proves that Obomba is both dishonest and an idiot:

Our low-cost retiree medical plan started spiking in premiums once the plans were changed to offer the minimum coverage required by Obamacare. I see line-items for maternity care. For retirees. Just plain stupid.

...lie after lie after lie after lie....that’s pretty much the way Hannity saw it last night....but, then again, Biden could be President....we will see in just a few days...

The plan was sold as ‘free’ healthcare, you could keep your doctor and you could keep your insurance if you liked it. And let’s not forget MIT professor Jonathan Gruber, a principal architect of Obamacare, admitting that, in order to get it passed, the law was made deliberately obscure and deceptive.

Yet there is a group of Americans who either don’t mind being constantly lied to or are too stupid to know.

After having full coverage with my job for 30 years, I lost it under Obama when the company was closed do to the high cost they were being forced to pay for our insurance

So I lost my job and insurance just as I was turning 60

Obama / Biden screwed everyone who worked with me along with owners who were shutdown after 45 years in business
