With less than two weeks left before the 2020 presidential election, former White House deputy chief of staff Karl Rove said it would be more “effective” for the Trump campaign to focus on the economy as opposed to the Hunter Biden “scandal.”
Rove made the statement on “America’s Newsroom” on Wednesday shortly after Trump 2020 Campaign National Press Secretary Hogan Gidley appeared on the program and explained the campaign strategy to focus on Hunter Biden and his international business dealings to attack Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.
“The president isn't talking about Hunter Biden. What he is talking about is Joe Biden and what these emails now reveal is that Joe Biden is flatout corrupt,” Gidley said referencing the Hunter Biden emails reportedly revealing his foreign business dealings, including contacts in Ukraine and China.

I agree to an extent. People care about their pocketbook the most, and they are not smart enough to tie Hunter Biden to their wallet. He needs to hammer the TWO economic rebounds that he has lead into peoples head. If it is an hour and a half of Trump talking about the other candidates kid he will gain zero traction. If the moderator tries to move off a topic and Trump hasn’t made his point, he needs to be like Pence and make his point during the next question.
The swamp is in full panic mode. Biden isn’t the only Senator or Congressman to have these family deals goin on. How else do you think a guy takes a mediocre salary as a Senator and retires 20 years later with hundreds of millions of dollars that appear out of nowhere?

The problem is that most people sitting at home don’t care about Hunter Biden. Most people probably couldn’t even tell you who that is.
People care about the same things they’ve always cared about: keeping a roof over their heads and putting food on the table. President Trump broke down the “blue wall” because he spoke to the fears of all the blue collar workers in those states who were watching their jobs disappear and Clinton basically told them that they’re useless and hopeless. At the end of the day, very few other things really matter in an election. You’re never going to convince a hardcore Democrat who’s deep into politics to vote for President Trump. It’s a fool’s errand trying. The people you can pull to your side are the people who don’t live and breathe politics because they have more important things to worry about each day.
Speak to those people about what really matters in their daily lives and win every time. Fail to do so and you’re rolling the dice.

Absolutely— and what’s more the entire fabric of the Biden crime syndicate includes suppression of the laptop evidence just prior to the FAKE impeachment over the Ukrainian PM phone call and trying to clear up just how embedded the Bidens were/are in the Ukraine corruption.
People understand this— the fact that it wasn’t just Ukraine, but many other countries being shaken down. And the National Security part of the Chi-Coms buying owning influence—included THE major energy company of China (such that Joe can say he will eliminate US Oil/Energy) so China can own THAT too and we all be enslaved to Chi-Coms.

Maybe Rove thinks it’s actually possible to take billions from powerful foreign nations and not be held in their debt.
It’s not about Hunter. It’s about the Uniparty selling us out to China. People care about that. It’s what got Trump elected as an outsider. To ignore Biden’s corruption would be foolish and an early Christmas present for the swamp.
